@NerdMom you do whatever you want in your own project thread! I'm a simple dragon lady - if there are nests and hatchlings and colors, I'm content! But you do have some other data-heads in this thread, so do whatever makes you happy!

Today we have darling G2 from the brother line. Brother Blindweed gave us -
a sun on overcast day with a silver lining,
new spring grass peeking out from melting winter snow,
and hearty thicket pushing back the winter snows into full retreat
But not an heir.

I hatched this nest thinking that the results turned out ho-hum, or joked that Blindweed REALLY doesn’t want to go into retirement.
But putting it that way and just seeing the beauty in Basic and mixed, I am not even disappointed to stay longer in this generation!

Next post Sister line.

They all look extraordinary at this point! Second of all, 2 Uncommon on one hatchling! AND it matched my challenge criteria of one on the body (Cherub or Okapi) and one on the wings (Seraph) that I made up just to make the odds a little harder on this generation. TelandrasRose was the only heir so far and stayed consistent with female-female by coincidence. It wasn’t a rule so far. I picture the odds getting twice as difficult across the board in order to match gender - and even if rejecting this heir holds Sister Line back from advancing to the next generation, a new rule would hold back Brother Line just as badly in the long run. And then I picture an unbroken line of daughters and an unbroken line of sons, versus zig zagging back and forth. And OMG, switching back and forth is no trouble for tracking purposes but visually and story-wise mixing up genders bothers me more than Young Sheldon hearing teachers say incorrect grammar. Wrong must be fixed at all costs, even interrupting the class! Even rejecting a perfectly valid heir… [emoji=tundra sad size=1] So, yeah. I couldn’t even bring myself to make it a vote. LET the experiment take twice as long. You shall not usurp the Sister Line! [emoji=tundra scared size=1] At least we have the advantage of 15-day cycle of Tundras and not breeding the rarer breeds for much longer cycles like my buddy on the 35-day phase! Some year, showing an unbroken line of one phenomenon odds-breaker after another, just makes it more outstanding. @pinglist-25589
