[size=2]Deep, deep in the Tangled Woods, a group of five dragons founds themselves disgusted with the weakness of their clan. They relied on their gods for everything and were incapable of nearly anything. This is the way that the gods kept it to make sure that nobody tried to overthrow them somehow.
The clan of the Umbralborne was under the intense control of the gods and goddesses. The group of five dragons hardly approved of this.
So, they left and formed their own clan--which they also called the Umbralborne--and began a new journey.

This is some type of Locke, but it's been altered so much that I'm not even sure what to call it.

All dragons in the Odyssey must be Shadow element unless otherwise specified.
All dragons purchased off of the Auction House must be G1 unless otherwise specified.
If a dragon perishes, it must be removed from the Odyssey, usually through exaltation.
Deaths in the Coliseum result in the dragon being exalted.
Any Shadow eggs found in the Coliseum and Gathering can be hatched, and the hatchling must join the Odyssey.
All Occurrences must be decided with a random number generator.
More than one Occurrence can be performed in a day.
The Royal is always excluded from Occurrences that require randomly selecting dragons unless otherwise stated.
Each time a nest is hatched, flip a coin for each hatchling. On a tails, the hatchling perishes.
If a nesting dragon dies, wait until the nest hatches, then exalt it.
Names will be decided with a random name generator.
Dragons can be customized with apparel, skins, etc. as you wish.
Feel free to level dragons before exalting them for some extra coins.
Dragons that have bred can only breed with dragons that they have previously bred with.
If there are no available G1 Shadow hatchlings on the Auction House, purchase an adult dragon instead, and vice versa.
Recruits can only breed with other recruits.
Recruits cannot be the Royal.
If you find that your clan becomes too large, you may exalt some dragons.
When recruiting dragons, it is also okay if you purchase hatchlings for cheap off of the Auction House, wait until they grow, and then exalt them. But, you still need to recruit dragons every day.

First, purchase the two cheapest adult dragons off of the Auction House; the element and generation don't matter. The dragons have heard about the growing Umbralborne clan and, looking for job opportunities, ask if they can join the clan. Level them both up to level 5 or higher, then randomly generate a number between 1 and 3 for each. On a 3, the Umbralborne decide that the dragon is worthy of becoming a recruit and the dragon joins the clan. If it's not a 3, exalt the dragon. They have not been deemed worthy. Keep purchasing dragons and exalting them until you get one that becomes a successful recruit, or two at once if you're lucky (rule stolen from the original Fodderlocke thread with some adjustments).
Once you've successfully gotten a recruit for the day, roll for an Occurrence.

50-63. A dragon is attacked by a monster, contracts a disease, gets injured somehow, or some other unfortunate event. Randomly select a dragon. Flip a coin. On a tails, the dragon perishes.
64-74. Write a small amount of lore for a randomly selected dragon (Royal included). It could be about their personality, their backstory, their family, etc. Just give us some detail about their life.
75-80. Something unfortunate happens to the Royal, such as catching a nasty illness or having their food poisoned. Flip a coin. On a tails, the Royal perishes and the dragon with the highest level becomes the new Royal.
81-86. Two dragons fall in love and have a nest. Randomly select two dragons (Royal included) of the opposite sex and breed them. The two dragons selected are now bonded and can only breed with each other, unless one of them dies. If a dragon that already has a partner is selected, then breed that dragon and its partner. If one of them is on cooldown, reroll. If there are no dragons available to breed in your lair, then purchase a hatchling off of the Auction House.
87-92. A dragon from the old Umbralborne clan has appeared to join the new Umbralborne. Purchase an adult dragon off of the Auction House.
93-95. Fight 50-75 battles in the Coliseum with randomly selected dragons (Royal included). Use a random number generator to determine the number of battles to fight.
96-97. Fight in the Coliseum with randomly selected dragons (Royal included) until you get a familiar drop.
98. A nest of hatchlings is found in the Forest. Purchase 2-5 hatchlings off of the Auction House. Use a random number generator to determine how many hatchlings are found.
99. A deadly disease spreads through the hatchlings of the Umbralborne. Flip a coin for every hatchling in the Umbralborne. On a tails, the hatchling perishes.
100. A deadly disease spreads through the adult dragons of the Umbralborne. Flip a coin for 10 randomly selected dragons in the Umbralborne. On a tails, the dragon perishes.
