If they join a group, they can help their comrades cover all genes as well, share fodder, and hopefully breed new dragons to fuel new breeding pairs! I played around with covering the breed bonus as well, but it'd be too many dragons to hold in your lair while also keeping your perma dragons out there as well, so it'd be too impractical for most people to use. [color=transparent]__[/color]Plentiful breeds have she shortest breeding cooldown, which makes them the most efficient for fodder breeding. If you wanted to nest 1 pair each day with all nests unlocked, you'd need 15 pairs, that's 30 dragons in total. Plus if you evenly divide the 30 dragons by the 4 plentiful breeds, you'll have plenty of each for when they do get that breed bonus! [color=transparent]__[/color]Another bonus is for the fodder's colour. In order to efficiently & easily cover all 177 colours, all dragons should be xxx. You can see the detailed calculations [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oe0vAT-gIZattZDs26_y_ZzcKh6V4N6qCOvA3hJArsw/edit?usp=sharing][color=#886a8d][u]here[/u][/url], but it results in 12 pairs having a range of 12 colours & 3 pairs having a range of 11 colours [color=transparent]__[/color]The last fodder bonus is for genes. Now the amount of genes is always increasing, so you can't cover all of the genes with just one set of fodder breeders (15 pairs). However, the whole point of this is to cover every exalt bonus reasonably possible, how can we not cover every gene?! There are 2 workarounds for this, which I'll expand on later. Genes have rarities, and the only way to get an even rate of two different genes from a breeding pair is if they're the same rarity. There's an awesome person called DarkPuffin who calculates [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/3109561][color=#886a8d][u]gene rarities[/u][/url], which is what the official sheet references for it's gene rarity chart! [color=transparent]__[/color]I mentioned that not all genes can be covered by one set of fodder breeders. I've found 2 workarounds for this. Either one person can have multiple groups of fodder breeders in rotation, or a group of people can team up to cover every gene. I'll be explaining this in a step by step process so it's easier to follow. For this example, we'll be looking for a breeding pair with the range of tan/beige-soil. [LIST=1] [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Open two browser tabs, each on the realm-wide AH in the Dragon section. Set the first tab's search parameters for the first dragon's color(s), in this case, tan & beige, the colour pattern to XXX, and limit the breeds to only modern dragons. Follow the same parameters in the second tab for the second dragon, in this case, soil. I'll be referring to these tabs by their colours from here on. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Pull the two tabs into their own separate windows. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Create two tab groups for each search tab, one for male dragons and one for females. You can do this by right clicking any tab and selecting 'Add tab to group'. Add every result from both searches to their corresponding group. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Organize the dragons in each group by their price, with the currencies valued at 1g-1kt. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Open one color's male group and the other's female group, then go through to find a pair with compatible gene rarities. Remember, genes must be the same rarity to give even results. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]If you can't find a compatible pair right now, you can check back later! However, what if you have more than one set of breeders, or don't have all your breeding grounds unlocked? I've found a few ways around this. [*][size=4] [color=#575f4d]Some flights have their own in-flight nesting programs for fodder breeding, ask around your flight to see if yours has one!
