In the depths of the Charged Wastelands, every day is a fight for survival. Water and prey are scarce. The weather is hostile, kicking up stinging sandstorms and wildfires borne of lightning. In this land we find the House of Scarcity - those who have honed their survival skills and adapted to the Stormcatcher's domain. Only the strongest and smartest survive from hatching to adult, and they often bear scars as reminders of their fight for existence.
Underground, however, is a different story. Underground springs trickle through caves, carving out a kingdom for the House of Abundance. This water combined with the filtered light through cracks and vines along the surface of these caverns creates a lively and diverse ecosystem. Flora and fauna are plenty, and this bounty of nutrients allows members of the Abundance to focus on the finer things in life, art, fashion, and treasures among them.
Eventually, some curious members of the Abundance wished to learn about the wastelands above them, and so they trekked up and out... only to become targets of the House of Scarcity. When their scouts did not return, the Abundance sent guards. Only a handful were ever lucky enough to make it back to the underground alive. Those who did manage to return brought ill omen with them, for Scarcity was not far behind, following along the wires and dune waves.
With discovery came conflict, and with conflict came an unsteady peace. Both houses ultimately wished to learn from each other, and they drafted documents of rules and regulations. For a time, Abundance allowed Scarcity to thrive... until the Will was found. A great tree, seemingly impossible to survive underground, was discovered. It bore great golden fruit that invigorated even the frailest of dragons, and this gift was shared between Abundance and Scarcity alike.
Then the Will exacted its toll.
The fruit that once strengthened life now sapped energy and grew few and far between. The leaves of the Will withered and carpeted the roots beneath it. Scholars of both houses determined that the Will needed life breathed back into its core to restore the tree to its former glory.
As such, the Legacy was founded.

[size=2][font=Webdings]n[/font][/size] Begin with your Founder - a triple-Basic dragon of a Plentiful breed (Fae, Guardian, Mirror, or Tundra).
[size=2][font=Webdings]n[/font][/size] Buy the founder a mate. The only rule here is that they must be compatible with the founder and cost 10kt (or its equivalent in gems) or less!
[size=2][font=Webdings]n[/font][/size] When they're both RTB, breed them. Only their first nest for any given breeding counts for this challenge.
[size=2][font=Webdings]n[/font][/size] Once the hatchlings are adults, they will be forced to battle in order to determine who carries on the legacy. Send them into the Training Fields and battle until all but one of the contenders have "fainted." The survivor is designated the Heir.
[size=2][font=Webdings]n[/font][/size] Once your heir has been selected, buy them a mate. This mate must be worth 10kt times the current generation number or less off the Auction House (i.e. Gen 2 = 20kt, Gen 3 = 30kt, etc.).
