BlueEyesNeko’s Long Drop Coli Challenge
Welcome! I’ve been on this game for a long time (7+ years now x.x) and I’ve just recently gotten into the coliseum pretty hardcore! I’ve done some coli challenges, but this one sounds so fun, and a good way to train up some dragons! So that’s the main purpose of me trying this out! Feel free to follow along or send some encouragement :’D It’ll be a long road, methinks!
I have a tracking spreadsheet I’ll use, but I’ll share everything I collect here once I’m done with a venue!
-----
Here’s the link to the original Long Drop challenge that shares the original rules!
And big thanks to @Zombrigit for letting me use their badges they made for their own long drop challenge!
When I began this challenge, and saw the False Leaf drop first, I immediately thought this would be a piece of cake. Well, I was wrong.
My first two hours were late into the night, starting just before midnight. I was optimistic. Boy, was that a mistake. After two hours of throwing enemies left and right, I was leaving with only fifteen False Leafs. [sub](leafs..? Leaves..? wHATEVER you get my point)[/sub] FIFTEEN.
The next day, I knew I’d finish the first leg of this long drop challenge, hah! Those Leafy Moths were just sleeping! Yeeesssss, just sleeping. That’s the explanation!
Eight…hours…later….I was sitting at 68 False Leaf bugs. My eyes were about as buggy as the trail of enemies I left behind, even though I didn’t have much to show for it in terms of those darn leaf bugs! “Common” apparently means ”ultra rare” according to this guidebook, PAH! I drug myself home and forced myself to rest. This wasn’t going to be so easy.
The next day, I brought in Juniper, my mighty fighting steed. He would quicken the process, surely! However, although we brought back some magnificent loot, it still took another two and a half hours or so to bring back the foretold 99 False Leafs…[sub]For real, is it leafs or leaves for this?[/sub] TRIUMPHANT! We shall rest for now, and look forward to the next destination!

When they hibernate in great quantities, false leaves can make bare trees appear lush.
After some rest, I’ve come to the Woodland Path! My favorite venue! There are so many things to see and collect from in here, perfect for a hoard. Beginning this venue’s challenge I got a Clover! Those drop from Dryads, which I see quite often! Nice!
Okay, three hours in and I’m only to…6 Clover. Which is averaging out to literally one Clover every 30 minutes. Oh boy…I’m determined to finish this by-the-book!
Twigs in my hair, dirt on my face…6 hours in and I’m to…TEN clover. Ten? THAT’S IT? Who can’t find clover in the freakin’ woods?! I hang my head in shame.
Hour NINE! Give it up for hour NINE!! At this point I’m up to…16 Clover.
I have ceased screaming into a hole I found into the ground, it’s the closest thing I found to a void. I don’t think the wildlife appreciate it, but I really needed that. And I’ve decided, that to keep my sanity intact, I will switch to what my second item was, which was a Maple Leaf. [sub]Again with the confusing leaf ending, how do forum goers expect me to know how to English after this suffering?![/sub]
Ahem..I have gathered about a stack and a half of those so far…which I will scream into the hole in the ground next about…but I will play fairly! I took the 54 Maple Leaf stack and started there, even though I had collected much more than that. I believe that’s a worthy enough penalty for my switcheroo I’ve committed to this day.
I AM THE QUEEN OF OWLS!
Days later…I have made it to the THIRTEEN hour mark with my FULL STACK OF MAPLE LEAFS! [sub]Let’s hope this is the last leaf I find, I can’t handle the English anymore..[/sub] I have about three dragons worth of loot to carry back. Good thing I have my coli tea-wait where did they go?

I AM THE QUEEN OF OWLS!
Days later…I have made it to the THIRTEEN hour mark with my FULL STACK OF MAPLE LEAFS! Let’s hope this is the last leaf I find, I can’t handle the English anymore.. I have about three dragons worth of loot to carry back. Good thing I have my coli tea-wait where did they go?
Springswarm was in full swing for part of this journey! I had taken a bit of a break and was relaxing a bit, when all of a sudden..BUGS! SO MANY BUGS! My dragons were very happy for the snack while we trailed through the scorched forest.
Do you realize how hard it is to find catfish in a very fiery atmosphere?! The luck we have, I tell you! However, this one wasn’t nearly as awful as the clover…I shudder to think of the clover. If you’ve paid attention to the dates of this entry, you’ll notice it was quite a jump! The ol’ noggin wasn’t being very kind and so I took this venue much slower. It was quite nice, actually! Although it didn’t drop as much as the last two venues. An interesting observation!
If only the Qiriqs would actually show up more than once a millenia!! The first half of the expedition was smooth sailing, but I think we killed off most of the population because then they hardly showed up for the last half!

While it was a long journey to get through the delta, I must say a lot of treasures didn’t find their way to me until the last 20 or so vials! All of a sudden the oasis opened up and showered me with gifts!....Although I wish it would have been poison bottles, but I won’t complain too too much, I guess.
