As you open the worn down door, you are greeted by the glances of the few who are already inside. One dragon, rather large and intimidating at first glance, looks over at you and smiles.
"Around here, ya won't be seein' too much peace, there's a few faction around here, and you best be believing they will each want'cha to help them out rather than the others. If ya plan on staying 'round here, try to build up as much Reputation Points as ya can. There's 3 factions right now, and they really don't seem ta like each other, but they've agreed that the Tavern is neutral ground."
As Duff guides you around the Tavern, you see a few tables he claims are safe for you to sit in right now, a post board with plenty of bounties on them, and a huge map that shows you where the Tavern is located, and the area around for a few weeks of flight away.
"Once again there pal, if ya ever need a rest or some food, let me know. Ya've got a free meal on the house!"
As Duff leaves you alone, the other occupants of the Tavern seem to ignore you still, until only 3 seem to even care that you're there. The first of those three to talk to you is a Blue Obelisk.
As she once again points you in the direction of the post board, picking up a quest written in a blue ink, with fancier cursive writing and handing it to you. As you look back up at her, you see her making her way to the door. Sandclaw smiles at you, and leaves. You stand there, uncertain.
"Alright, you don't need to stand there and listen to her yapping on all day about what looks the prettiest." You hear a voice state, sounding mildly annoyed. You turn to face who was undoubtedly speaking to you, and come face to face with an orange dragon.
He takes the first bounty out from your claws, and grabs a different bounty, this time written in an almost sloppy claw-writing. It's legible, but just barely. "Me and my Clan ain't gonna just stand around and wait for ya to join. You either will or won't in time, and I've said my piece already. You'll know where to find us all at." With that, and a farewell, Molten also leaves you.
You can already sense the final dragon will come up to you, so you grab one of the final bounties that has a more consistent claw-writing, written as though they needed this to be the same every time.

"The name's Molten, and I am the leader of the Copper Thorns. We are all about fighting and loyalty. If you ain't got each other's backs, then what are ya here for?" |
