I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! I'm hardly going to stop after winning - I plan on doing a combined kingdomlocke/Emperorlocke after this. I've learned a lot, and doing a kingdomlocke has been really fun ^-^

For my first one I had an assassin trying to murder people and getting brought back as a shade the same day I got my last job filled (familiar keeper), so I guess I lucked out there and didn't have to think too hard about it (I didn't even realize how close I was until it was done and I checked my notes). Hopefully nothing catastrophic happens in your kingdom now that you're so close!!

Epilogue It came out of nowhere. The dragons of Havenshire descended upon the kingdom they had splintered off from so long ago, overwhelming the guard with elemental blasts and claw alike. First the city guard fell, and then the castle guard. Queen Morainn burst into the throne room, flanked by her loyal subjects, to confront the brother of King Bamaal. The one who had driven them into the jungles to die, only for that same jungle to become their greatest ally. That king died that day. Havenshire conquered his kingdom, and assimilated his land into their own. Queen Morainn crowned her mother and her mate as the duke and duchess of their new province. While the main capital of Prosperity would remain hidden in the jungles, by no means were they about to let their new land and subjects go to waste. Ironically, King Bamaal would go down in history as a king unfairly exiled to the jungle with his two most loyal followers, with his brother being an unfair despot ruling with an iron fist. To be fair, King Bamaal’s brother had been a bit of a tyrant, which only strengthened the validity of Havenshire’s narrative. Queen Morainn, on the other hand, was a more fair and just ruler, one who listened to her people just as she had in the Shrieking Wilds. Communication was key to her kingdom’s survival, and the newly enlarged Havenshire benefited greatly from her rule. So ends this chapter of the tale. The wheel of time turns ever on, and while this is far from the story’s end, this is as good a place as any to let my voice rest. Just lemme know if you wanna be pinged when it gets started and I’ll add you to the list ^-^ I’ll be setting it up somewhat differently, more akin to what @KittyCowLexa does than what I’ve been doing here so far. Epilogue

It came out of nowhere.
