CANCELLED: As fun as this was, I found it was starting to become a drag, I've been running out of lair space, and I think I'd rather go back to grinding fodder the old way. It's unlikely I'll do another challenge like this, I have a lot more fun breeding and scrying than do challenges like this.
So, I've been doing a lot of grinding in the Coliseum and I'm kinda getting bored of just throwing level 25s into low level zones and curbstomping things until I get the drops I'm looking for, so I thought why not do a challenge that will make the grind less tedious and help me level up some fodder too? So here I go, starting a Fodderlocke.

Roll a 12-sided die. Your next challenge is as follows:

Level them to 5 when they come of age. If the parents would be exalted while they’re on the nest, wait until their nest hatches and Then exalt them. [color=slateblue]If nobody is ready to breed, grab a random hatchie off the AH. A secret forbidden child or sibling has been uncovered.[/color]
[*]There’s [b]Romance[/b] in the air. Pick two dragons at random. They are now in a relationship. If one gets exalted, so does the other. Their fates are bound together.
[*][b]Hunting trip[/b]. Take any two of your dragons into a coli venue that is too low for them to gain experience. (Your choice). Go until you get a familiar drop.

[*][b]Test the Newbies[/b]. Roll a d10 for each of your lowest-level dragons. If it’s higher than their level, exalt them. They were not good enough. Raise the remaining low-level dragons by one level.
[*][b]Major Heist[/b]!! This is it! Your time to shine. Roll a d12 for Every dragon. If you get higher than their level, exalt. Raise all survivors by one level.
[color=slateblue][i]Alternate Safer Heist Option[/i]: Flip a coin. Heads? the mission was a success! Instead of getting exalted on the failed role above, they simply don't gain a level. Tails? Exalt as above.[/color]
[*][b]A coup[/b]! Exalt your leader. They have been dramatically betrayed by the others a la the ides of march. Determine a new leader from the remaining dragons. The highest level dragon will be it. If there is a tie, the oldest tied dragon shall be the leader. Level the tied dragon one level to make it better than its peers.

After you finish your dramatic challenge, go back to the recruit stage (either the next day or immediately) and go again. Keep whatever pace you want.

If for some ungodly reason a dragon ever gets to level 25, crown them the lord of all fodder. Give them stats & stones and pull them out to make them your new 2-fod trainer. Or exalt them for being too strong. Your choice.

I am adding an additional rule for myself, due to having limited space available for this challenge. If I ever get 10 dragons in the Pharmacy I will reroll any roll that would give me extra dragons. Once the Pharmacy is back under 10 I will use every roll possibility.
Also, another small rule/clarification. Ancients cannot wear clothes, this means it can be very hard to tell if an Ancient is a Leader or if they have an Exalt Immunity. Well fear not, because a spiffy looking skin, a sweet scene and a swish vista should be enough to make your Ancients stand out and remind you of special conditions they may have. What happens if you need to put more than 3 markers? I dunno, it's not happened to me yet, when it does I'll tell you my solution.

Kerowyn carefully removed the scrap of paper from the hatchling, distracting it with a wave of his tail lest it start crying, then he opened it and read, "You good for nothing charlatans, you assured me the products you sold were guaranteed to be effective, instead I found myself stuck with this brat. As far as I'm concerned you caused this problem, and you are going to be the ones to deal with the consequences. Know that I shall tell everyone I know to shun your store and your merchandise." Kerowyn glanced back down at the hatchling which had begun to chew on his tail fur. "Poor little blighter," he said as he reached down to pick up the baby, "It's not your fault your mother trusted us. Well, little one, welcome to the family, in time I'm sure you'll be an asset to us."

((Huh, I didn't notice when I bought him but the Bogsneak is a First Gen, so rather than exalting him he's going to get a permanent place in my G1 Plague clan.
I have also decided to store hatchlings for this challenge in a HibDen tab, since they just take up space in my lair without contributing anything. I will probably also take from my breeding project rejects from now on, at least if they are eligible, since any that don't get adopted were going to be exalted anyway.))

I gave you all a very simple task, set up a stall in the Undercroft, and sell some of our products to unsuspecting customers. And not only did you fail to do this, but the rest of the recruits got captured by the authorities for false advertisement and thrown into prison." Rugar flicked her wings and from behind her back she pulled a heavy looking sack. She dropped it on the desk, the unmistakable sound of treasure jingling within it.
"Yes," she said, "The others got captured. But I escaped with the profits we managed to collect before the raid." Immediately Camir's crest flattened down and he dragged the sack towards himself, and peeked inside, it was a tidy enough profit.
"Well, then, the day was not a complete loss." He glanced back at Rugar, fins flicking in amusement, "Keep this up, dear, and you'll be a valuable member of this family."

The group packed up a caravan with their fake panaceas and went travelling to the Tangled Wood to hawk their wares to the unsuspecting dragons there. Camir spun on his heel, wings and crests flared in irritation, "If I hire you, will you stop following me around and quit your annoying yapping."
Scales cocked her head and then nodded vigorously, "Of course, sir, I will do exactly as I'm told, sir."
Camir cocked his head in return, "Good. Go bother Kerowyn, tell him your brilliant ideas and if he thinks they are good he'll put them into effect."

((I messed up a little this time. The rejected Obelisk had some levels when I bought them, and when they hit level 6 instead of just continuing on with just Potluck and the trainer, I bought another fodder to fill out the team. Then whilst training Potluck and Dread they got a gene drop, so they were immune to exalting if they rolled less than 6 on recruitment. That’s why there were only three recruits this update instead of the four it should have been.))

A very small group of recruits were interviewed, the first on Obelisk was very quickly deemed useless and thrown out, but a pair of Faes showed their initiative by offering a gene scroll to Camir to do with as he pleased. They found themselves quickly accepted into the business.

Cahir paced back and forth within the Pharmacy, fins twitching in worry. They should have been back by now. It was a simple reconnaissance mission to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Go in, look for a small village or a decent sized market where they could next hawk their wares, report back with their findings. They should be back by now. They weren't fresh blood, they'd been with him from the start. They knew how to evade the authorities and how to talk their way out of trouble with angry customers. Why weren't they back by now? The Fae glanced out the window, at the sun just peeking over the horizon, at the red dawn sky. It had been over 48 hours now. 'Red sky in morning, dragons take warning'. Cahir's crest drooped and he reluctantly wandered back to his room to curl up in his nest of blankets. They weren't coming back.

The Ridgeback opened one eye, briefly looked at Camir and then, with a loud yawn,
shut it and went back to pretending to sleep in front of the entrance to the Pharmacy. With wings and crest flared in fury Camir stormed forwards, slapped his paws against her eye ridge and leered forwards, staring directly into the eye that had snapped back open, "I said move out of the way." The words were said with fangs bared and claws that had begun to dig into scales. Loa flinched slightly, suddenly realising that even a dragon as tiny as a Fae could take out an eye if it got close enough, like this one had done.
But quickly she regained her composure and snorted, "I want a refund for that supposed toothache cure you sold me. I suffered through two weeks of pain and foul tasting elixir, only for it not to work and then find out from a Plague healer that the cure I paid top money for was a fake."
Camir considered his options carefully. The Ridgeback was massive compared to the rest of the staff, even together they'd struggle to physically force the female away, and there was no way to get the authorities to deal with this without bringing the law down on them too. With a snap of his teeth and a rattle of his crest Camir said "No refunds." Then he rudely clambered over Loa to get through the door to the Pharmacy. Loa watched the Fae leave, shook herself off, and then settled back down to continue blocking the entrance. She had nothing to do for a bit, and she was sure with time they would concede to her demand.
