Careful analysis of their size has determined that most meteors will reach the ground, but are unlikely to cause any real damage. The fallen material has the potential to be related to the Shade and could provide vital information to efforts of the Fortress of Ends. Or it could just be some really pretty rocks!! Who's to know? Meteorologists predict clear skies across the Southern Icefields for the duration of the meteor shower. The signature snow laden cloud coverage of winter in the south thankfully delayed to give this event its chance to shine. Climbing parties are quickly being formed by dragons who want the best view possible atop the tall Cloudscrape Crags to research this rare event. But even the hardiest ice dragons cannot safely make the treacherous trek alone. These climbs must be planned carefully with the best equipment and resources available to ensure the safe return of every brave dragon in search of knowledge (and a beautiful view). Much safer viewing locations are being set up all across the tundra and floes, open to any visitors who want a beautiful view and to join in the festivities. So bundle up and come down to the Southern Icefields to see the sites, help gather information, and maybe bring home some space souvenirs!
