Welp, that's another year of bogs being hatched every Sunday! Using the data in the "color log" post on page one of this thread, I looked at what RNG landed on for 52 total hatches.
Things were a lot calmer this year than they were in year three, with one notable hatch in February, an XXY in ivory and grey.
Boy and girl hatches were split exactly down the middle, with 26 of each.
Good color distribution this year, as relatively few colors repeated amongst the hatchlings. Of the 177 colors on the wheel, seven mostly cool colors were seen twice as primaries. These color graphs show the colors which were repeated, and non-repeated colors are not represented.
Another six (mostly warm) colors were seen twice as secondaries, below.
Only four colors repeated in the tertiaries, most twice, but cinnamon appeared three times.
Even fewer colors were duplicated this year than the previous three. The color block below represents every color seen in the hatches this year. Each column represents one dragon, with the oldest hatch on the left, top row is primaries, middle row is secondaries, and bottom row is tertiaries.
Every flight was represented this year, with at least three hatches from each elemental background. Arcane had the most hatches with eight, and Wind, Fire, Lightning, and Plague the fewest with three.
No special eye hatches this year, just one of bright, with common being the most common type and high numbers of both uncommon and unusual.
Year four was pretty good for even distribution! Very random, much bog.
As with previous years, I will breed a bog with the most common attributes from the colors, etc., seen this year. I chose from the duplicated colors to match the cinnamon tertiary, so this year's graph holder will be a dark and dramatic abyss/tarnish/cinnamon with thoroughly not matching arcane eyes. Since RNG was evenly divided, whichever hatches first--boy or girl--will be the one I keep. Unless I come up with something better, they'll be called Fourtune.

Thanks for joining me on this quest to hatch a boggy every week! There will be a couple more posts on this thread with the new link for Year FIVE, and eventually, when I breed Fourtune, I'll post them here as well.
