howdy everyone; i really like breeding toward scries as cheaply (and therefore slowly) as possible, and i also enjoy collecting familiars, so i thought i'd make a thread to track my progress on those fronts. i made my account a very long time ago, revisited it once or twice, but have been back on fr more "permanently" since april. at that time i cleared out most of my lair, made some scries and have been working towards breeding those dragons since. i'm also trying to breed the correct genes and colors using as few scrolls as possible, because i'm not good at making treasure but i'm [i]very[/i] patient. this is a personal thread, however, please feel free to comment if you like! i like talking to people but i'm bad at reaching out on the forums normally. also note, i put my breeding dragons on the AH once they're no longer necessary for their project. so if you'd like to reserve a dragon from my [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/lair/14991/14257?][emoji=dna size=1] project tab[/url], please let me know and i'll be happy to ping you when they're available.

today i'm hatching a nest for antares, so i'll introduce this project a little further. [center][morphology=1484153][/center] i'm working towards a female plat/gloom/plat nocturne with wasp/constellation/opal. i've been breeding towards it since april and after many nests i'm getting pretty close now. because nocturne scrolls are cheap i'm not worrying about the breed, but all three genes are rare so their scrolls are not so cheap. most of my current dragons in the project have all three, and fortunately the colors are all in that relatively common monochrome range. here are the dragons i've currently got working toward the project in no particular order. at this point, all of them have at least 2/3 of the necessary genes and are a maximum of 6-away on color. about 3/4 of these i've bred myself at this point. today i'm hatching a nest for my newest project, codenamed ruby. [center][morphology=1676730][/center] i scried it around the time obelisks came out this summer, and if it works out it'll be my first permababy. i'm trying to get an obelisk with blush/cream/garnet and petals/edged/thylacine. so far i'm doing ok on getting petals into the mix but edged and thylacine have been harder to find, even though they're common. i've already got a 1-away so i may consider scrolling those if i can get a ob baby with everything else right. here's the dragons i've got involved in this project right now.
