He brags about it. All the time.” Arturo told her. “Yeah, but-” Aleta started. “All. The. Time. He’s too proud of it I think. If the dragon doesn’t praise him for it he leaves.” Arturo finished. Aleta grumbled, gnashing her teeth for a moment. “That’s harsh, Arturo. He’s our son. We’ve talked to him about that.” Arturo sighed. “We have. I know it’s harsh, but his behavior worries me.” “Have you talked to him about it?” “Yeah. He just thinks it's his partners’ faults. It itched at her, as she moved through the alleys that rarely if ever saw the sun, near the entrance to the Crescent Volcano. She was a scientist. She was working off of rumors. It was contradictory, but sometimes things had to be.

@Petall This chapter felt so good to write, finally having Protocol meet Leena. Also, I have a habit of having my characters like tea. I didn't even make the connection to Adriel, but thinking about it, Leena wouldn't like her. She thinks poison is 'rude' and that a dragon should have the honor of knowing they're about to die by her hand.
