Round 6 has hatched. All fae this time and all males. I'll miss the fluff. I did lose the tertiary and didn't gain anything else in return. For the first one, I swear I tried other genes first. Does flaunt/flair/lace work or no? The blues go, but I'm not sure about the yellows. And I don't think the charcoal tertiary will contribute much. So he's not very exciting or fun to play with. Sennethe I vote for the first scry for your first hatchling and the last scry for your third hatchling. I agree the second one seems harder to work with, but I'll give em all a try to see what happens. lol If you like the reddish notes, he looks nice with leopard/noxtide/underbelly. They must have some serious muscle, or a ton of hair. lol Most of mine are on the smaller side, closer to the 200 or so kg mark.

Yeah, the second one... I don't know that he's difficult because most things seemed to work on him, it's just that he's not very exciting. He's just blue. Barring that yellow orange accent for iris or the red for charcoal in koi. Amazingly charcoal peacock is even blue. I think I skipped it, since koi was red. I like the ribbon you suggested with the flair. The last one is really easy to make look good in a flashy way because of that amethyst secondary. You have to work to make him look bad by pulling in the green accents from the eldritch and even that doesn't completely kill him in some combos if you want a Frankenstein/Halloween vibe. You have a point. It's one reason I tend not to have dragons that are all one color range. I saw the blue in the Peacock but wasn't sure about the dark ring. That is pretty interesting, the scry you have there. Glad I could help with suggestions. :)

Stitched and Patchwork definitely don't work on him. lol

I do like the scry you have. I'm not sure why the green in the peacock works, but it's charming on him.

Well, that's an inappropriate name for her if I ever saw one. Things shouldn't get too bad color-wise. The worst you might get is an 80s purple and turquoise combo. Although... with his primary there's no telling what accent colors might show up. Oh, wait. Oh no, she's basic. Never mind. I'm so sorry for your gene loss. [emoji=tundra sad size=1]

Thank you, but she does have a tert. It's not a tert I'm fond of, but I may just wind up switching which gene I have. Or RNG could take pity and give me two genes? lol

That's a really small range for the primary. Maybe you'll get one of each, although in my experience it feels like I'm more likely to get them all the same. RNG gets lazy and picks a color and sticks with it. Good luck getting exciting secondary colors.

Looking at the ranges, it looks like there's a good chance of avoiding the pinks for the secondary and an even chance for the primary, but the tertiary surprised me with all those reds and pinks. I always lose track of slate in the browns. It seems like it should be a gray-range to me. Fingers crossed that someone turns out mostly unobjectionable.
