This generation was actually really, really nice? She looks sorta funny but I also really like her at the same time? Honestly this pair might get kept and added into my normal breeding rotation, since their babies preview REALLY nice. [b]GEN FIFTEEN STARTING BANK: 168,318 t 185 g CURRENCY: TREASURE (but also gems on accident)[/b] Okay first thing first. I got bored again and mixed it up this round! This round had the following temporary rules: 1. The heir for this generation is chosen at 7am by my half-asleep housemate. 2. The mate for this generation was allowed to be cherry picked...BUT they were being chosen to be a future mate to a dragon previously retained after their round in the challenge. They must be picked ONLY on that requirement, and not based on how they look with their challenge mate. So yeah, mixed it up a bit. She's only from two generations back - she was Xavven's mate in Gen 13. I decided to keep her! And she is the lucky lady who is getting the Gen 15's sloppy seconds as her normal mate. Actually it's more like she's got a mate she's kindly lending out to the Gen 15 heir, the way I went about this. Hm. ANYWAY, on to GEN 15! We got a quite nice 4 eggs this time around, and the kids were all fairly neat. On to the mate... so, I forgot this was a Treasure round, but ultimately I decided since the rules for this round were different I wasn't going to split hairs on the issue or feel too bad about it. [b]GEN SIXTEEN STARTING BANK: 211,968 t 190 g CURRENCY: GEMS[/b] Yeah okay so again, even though I'm trundling along doing breedings on time in the background, I am terrible about writing updates in a reasonable timeframe. Whoops. Phthalo is one of my favorite blues in the color wheel, ESPECIALLY in Wasp, and blue+brown really is a winning combo in my books, so all in all, a handsome lad. But he isn't exciting enough to me, personally, to end the challenge. SO ONWARDS TO THE MATE! Probably just heavy in the browns.) Magiere is ready to breed on May 31st, so expect an update with the new beebs sometime after that! I picked him up for a low, low 7,899 Treasure (since we're on a treasure round, and I didn't forget for once.) I would like this challenge to end eventually, after all. I mean, the progen who started it is all gened up and pretty now, so, like, one of two end goals accomplished already!
