This tunnel is unlit, and you can hear the sound of water dripping as you slog your way through the darkness. The ground underneath your feet is muddy, and each step comes with the unpleasant sound of tracking through damp earth.

As you persist, slowly glowshrooms begin to appear on the walls, lining the bottom of the tunnel and populating the ceiling, providing steadily growing illumination as you continue to progress. Soon, you come to a wide, round chamber, the walls crawling with several shades of glowshroom, the ceiling overhead low-hanging enough that it makes you anxious. Before you, there is a RUBY ARCHWAY, strange growths stretching from it to the wall, binding it securely in place. Beside it, nestled in a tiny divot in the wall, there's a small BUTTON.

You probably shouldn't press it.

This room is small, and somehow feels rather solemn - it's hard not to speak in hushed tones. Beside the ARCH, there's a BASIN full of clear water, and on the other side of it, there's a small NICHE that you could probably investigate, as well.

What would you like to do?

REST
FORAGE
investigate the NICHE
observe the ARCH
drink from the BASIN

If you're through exploring this area, you can enter the RUBY ARCHWAY, or press the BUTTON you shouldn't press.

The three dragons were determined to stand their ground. The beast was huge, and at the same time the moss lit up brightly. "I can't see!", Coil yelled. Drifter ran up to her to try and protect her from any possible harm. Only Siren was left on the battlefield. Luckily, she was also the dragon with the most experience as a warrior and the only one who had actually brought a weapon. She gazed upon the creature, not swayed by fear in the slightest, and drew her HALBERD. She picked it up in this very room, it wouldn't be strange if it could be used to attack this monster. Her own lance could wait, for now. Aiming for the monster's eyes, she swung her weapon.

Meanwhile, Coil tried to recover from the sudden blinding lights. While Drifter was doing better, he too was taken aback by the burst of light after spending some considerable time in dim rooms. "Why did it light up so sudden?", Coil asked but the other Mirror didn't have a clue. He did, however, have a shield. It might be useful to guard his friend, but maybe he could get crafty with it too...

@Moray [br][br][emoji=torch]You don't have a sword, a mirror, or any bells. While there's more than enough space for you to continue to put space between yourself and the monster, the beast's own unfortunate anatomy keeps it from pursuing you further, and it slams into the walls blocking it in futility, bellowing with rage as it repeatedly tries to reach you, and around you, moss and loose rocks shake free from the walls, the latter crashing thunderously into the alcove; though it does not appear the monster can do enough damage to widen the pass. After a few more moments of thrashing around, it lifts its head and releases a low, mournful cry, shaking its head back and forth. @thatwhatthing [br][br][emoji=torch] Glowshrooms are clustered on the walls in little bunches, giving this niche enough ambient light that you can see your surroundings. It's bigger than you thought it would be, though the majority of it is dominated by the dark pool across from you, the waters swirling slowly within the stone. Above it, there's a massive relief etched into the wall, depicting the Plaguebringer in all Her glory - Her rotten wings are spread wide, Her monstrous visage perched on a massive obelisk in the center of a strange forest that you can probably assume is meant to be the one you've been exploring. The rubies that are inset into the wall for Her eyes appear to be glowing.[br][br]Though the water is dark, it smells clean water, and there's a series of short steps that lead down into the waters, flanked by a pair of softly burbling fountains. The current that begins with them swirls away from you and disappears under the lip of the relief, keeping the water in the pool from stagnating, and investigation from an intrepid explorer reveals that the water within comes roughly up to the shoulders, if a dragon is standing on all fours within it. Around you, pegs have been mounted into the wall, most of which are empty; but a few are hanging with differently colored TUNICS, all of which appear clean. At least one of these sets would fit you nicely. [br][br]There's something about this place that feels almost sacred.
