I have returned after many moons to do another BOTU! Something about this challenge just keeps bringing me back. Probably because it's so easy!
I'm sticking to my original ruleset this time (heirs and mates must be triple-gened; mates cannot cost more than 15kt/g, but preferably less than 10kt/g) and started with a double-ugly, as is tradition. I'll continue doing double-uglies until I have something I think I can work with and then start to narrow down the range.
I've also decided to allow myself low-hanging fruit again because, well, it's low-hanging for a very good reason.

I... can't remember how much I bought either of them for, but I believe both were less than 10kt! The reason I'm not sure is because I actually started this challenge in early October [i]and never posted about it because I kept forgetting[/i]. In fact, it's been so long since I technically started Part III of this challenge, that these two are actually ready to hatch their very first wegg! [s]Which will not be today because I have no lair space[/s]
I'll check in again tomorrow or Friday with the resulting heir!

Blackvine As long as I do double-uglies, we can't be certain of anything! I'll be looking for her mate soon. My top priority is gonna be to get rid of Thlyacine, I think, so we'll see what I can find!

I'm not super thrilled about keeping Thylacine in the gene pool, but if I'm lucky I might be able to roll some hatchies with darker terts, and I can always try to breed it out later. We'll see how these guys turn out though!

Tbh... I don't really hate any of these. I also don't really love any of them either, so I'm actually undecided on who the next heir is gonna be. I think all of them have potential! Since they're all plentifuls I might just let myself mull over it till their cooldown is over and select an heir then.
