Eeeh, heck it, I can just shove an About/FAQ in here with the rest of my mess
(This is gonna be just whatever comes to mind and will expand over time)
Q: Basic info?
A: I'm Tower or Karak, and I use they/it pronouns. I'm a grown adult, do with that what you will.
Interactions
Q: Why did you take so long to respond to me?
A: One of many reasons, probably! I may have been busy IRL, I may have been low on spoons, I may have needed extra time to think over what I would respond with!
I'm also 9 hours ahead of FR time, meaning if you contact me after 11am site time, you may only receive a response after rollover, when I'm awake and available again.
That said, if it has been three days and I haven't gotten back to you yet, feel free to poke me again! My memory and I aren't on the best terms most days, so there's always a chance I simply forgot.
Q: You've blocked me. Why did you block me?
A: I don't know, my blocklist is long, because I firmly believe that the button is there for a reason.
Typical reasons I block people include:
- Bigotry. Maybe I saw you say bigoted things on the forums. Maybe it's in your bio. Maybe it's on your tumblr, and you link your FR profile there. I am not dealing with the likes of that.
- This includes gatekeepers, btw.
- Anti-exalt people and people who think exalting users are incapable of loving their permas, because apparently that's a view that exists??
- Repeat offenders of ordering a slot and then never paying (without contacting me about needing more time) in my skin shop. I do not wish to do business with people who repeatedly stand me up.
- Plain annoying or rude people. It happens.
Feel free to block me in return, if you'd like.
Dragons
Q: You bought my dragon at fodder price, can I buy it back?
A: Depends. Are they on the second page of my Breeding or Sales tab within, let's say, an hour of me buying them? Then yes, you may! I will sell back fodder in the Breeding tab for the price I bought it for (if I haven't nested them already, in which case you know they're stuck with me until the nest hatches) and ones in the Sales tab for 20g/20kt.
If they're not in my Sales tab or the second page of my Breeding tab, then no. I most likey bought them for keeping or for a breeding project.
Q: But I don't want my dragon to be exalted!
A: Consider selling it above fodder price then, next time. Or keeping them.
Q: I don't like the fodder names you use! Can you use a different one?
A: (I name all unnamed adult fodder Starlet and all unnamed hatchling fodder Beepy. Hatchling fodder I sell is mostly sold unnamed.)
If I haven't named them yet and you PM me about it before I do? Sure, give me a name. If I have already named them? Also sure, if you send me a renaming scroll to do it with.
Consider selling your dragons named next time.
Q: You sold this dragon at fodder price, but I think it's pretty! Was that on purpose?
A: Technically all my pairs (with the exception of Hope and Comfort) are fodder pairs. Most fodder hatchlings get one day of being listed on the AH for 10-30g), and then they're booted as fodder. Sometimes I may keep super pretty ones longer to try to send them off to nicer homes.
So yes, if you bought something for fodder price, it was fodder. Have fun with keeping it or trying to flip it for what you think it's worth. I sure don't have the patience to keep them for weeks on end while they refuse to sell.
Q: Are your dragons open to studding/private breeding requests/etc?
A: Only the active breeders in my main lair, which is...most of the dragons in my main lair. Is it a bred dragon on breeding cooldown/on a nest? Does it clearly have a partner it's matched up with? Is its name Homerun, because he's a special boy? Then why yes, go ahead and PM me! Breeding one of my pairs for a specific date or in a different flight (as long as we go through a public nest rental or one of my friends) can easily be arranged! And so is breeding a dragon with one you provide!
Any other dragons though, the answer is no.
Misc
Q: What do you use to draw?
A: Clip Studio Paint. I don't think other details such as what tablet I use are of interest and neither is anything I do on paper. CSP is fun though, I do recommend it if you're looking for a solid art program that isn't (shudders) photoshop.
