DINING ROOM. NIGHT TIME. Tetsui is eating a colourful garden salad with Kaz, and the two are bonding? Sort of. They have two forks, and one giant bowl. It's one of those fancy salads made from rotala leaves, and sweetened with spearmint and sea grass. There's a few small bowls of berries divided between the two, and a bowl of cream. It's a nice moment. Until it's not. The doors open with a thunderous crack, and Phasma stalks into the room, clutching her pearl possessively. There's fire in her shadow eyes, and she zeroes in on Tetsui. [center]Phasma: Kaz, can you give us the room? Kaz: Uh. Tetsui: Kaz isn't leaving. Kaz: I'm not? Tetsui: You're staying put. She doesn't get to boss you around, or give you orders. Kaz: Oh okay. Phasma: So you employ the ditzy tundra as your lackey now, nocturne? You need to pad your numbers so you feel like you're winning? Can't bare to be alone with me, for fear I'll out-perform you, one on one? Tetsui: It's not like that. You're mean. And rude. And you act like you own everything. Like we're all underneath your heel. Phasma: You allow me to prove my superiority. Tetsui: You're only superior in one respect. Phasma: And what's that? Tetsui: You're superior at losing. Because I believe [i]I[/i] won the last challenge, didn't I? Phasma: You had the home advantage. I'm surprised you don't have gills hidden in those messy scales.[/center] Kaz watched the goings back and forth like a tennis match, fork waivering. [center]Tetsui: I think you should leave us alone, Phasma. You're unwelcome here. I don't see what Sozen would ever want in you. So cold and uncaring.[/center] Phasma leapt at Tetsui then, roaring ferociously - so deep, it bellowed in the room and shook the large windows. Kaz dropped her fork and dove over her chair for protection. Tetsui yelped as Phasma's talons dug into her shoulder. [center]Phasma: Mind your words, you scum.[/center] Bending Tetsui into submission, Phasma then let the nocturne go. Both ladies rose to their feet. Phasma picked up her pearl, and let loose an arc of flame that soon engulfed the lovely dinner. [center]Phasma: Goodnight.[/center] She stalked out of the dining hall, and Kaz and Tetsui remained to put out the fire. Kaz shot comforting and apologetic glances to the hurt nocturne, but Tetsui was quiet and kept to herself. I have tinctured Kaz because i'm a goof and decided I want her as a mage >.< So her stats are now Qck/Intel. All three lady dragons are awarded 1 heart. [center]RUBIX (voiceover): Today on this episode of the Bachelor, after the *ahem* drama of our last episode, our ladies will spill their hearts out to our resident therapist, Maximum![/center] The camera pans to a very ... [i]very[/i] fluffy pink tundra, curled in a relaxed and inviting pose on a chaise lounge. He wears a pink mage's hat and sips from a cup of tea. There's a knock at the library door. [center]Tetsui (offscreen): I just go in here? Max: Hello. Tetsui: Oh, hi. Yeah, okay. Do I sit, or...? Max: Please.[/center] Tetsui scurries into the chair opposite the tundra, and looks on guard, like he might bite her. [center]Max: My name is Maximum, I'm here to give you someone to talk to with confidentiality. Tetsui: And a camera crew, where this will be broadcast across Sorneith. Max: ... Yes. But the other ladies won't know what you say here to me. Tetsui: I see. Well, I don't think we're safe here. I think Phasma is a danger to myself and to Kaz, and I think she's an inappropriate match for Sozen. Max: She passed the psychological screening with flying colours. Tetsui: Of course she did. She's manipulative like that. Maximum: I'm sorry you feel this way. Would mediation help? I can arrange-- Tetsui: Just keep her away from me.[/center] The speckled nocturne climbs out of her seat and slithers out of the library. CUT SCENE. [center]Kaz: I mean, I don't even know what happened! One minute, Tetsui and I were giggling, and the next... everything was on fire? That pearlcatcher, I don't even know who she is, but she's trouble. She's ruthless and she's got a target on Tetsui. By the way, your spots are lovely.[/center] We see the two tundra curled up on their respective chairs, both shades of pastel and adorableness. Kaz's sparkly eyes sparkle and reflect stars in her tea. [center]Max: Oh thank you! I appreciate that you're able to distract yourself from dark thoughts. That is a good trait to have. Kaz: I mean, it doesn't help anyone to always be so downtrodden, does it? We should enjoy every day. Max: Even when there is heartache and trials? Kaz: Especially then.[/center] CUT SCENE. Silence. The camera is on Phasma's pearl, with her tail curled protectively around it. It pans up to her face, her thylacine stripes around her eyes seem darker. [center]Phasma: I am here to win, Maximum, is what I'm saying. That is my objective, and I will not fail. Max: But I'm just ... suggesting you be a little warmer. Phasma: .... Max: Okay that's not the right word. Nicer. Friendlier. We don't want a security risk-- Phasma: Don't you want the prospective mate of your fair Sozen to know how to protect herself? And protect him? Max: Well, yes, but-- Phasma: I don't see how being assertive is a detriment. I believe I've said all there is to say here. I'll see myself out. Good day, Maximum.[/center] The camera goes back to Max, and he looks into the lens and shakes his head. [center]Max: It's been a telling interview. I think we've learnt a lot here today, and I can only hope that some bridges can be rebuilt.[/center] Oh hey, here's Rubix. His pink feathers ruffle and stand on end, and he looks tired. He is sitting in the chaise Phasma had vacated. [center]Rubix: What's in store for our fair maidens, and where is their knight? What does he think of what's been going on when he's not around? Sources tell me he's found connections with each of them, and has even expressed developing feelings for some of them. I mean,... he didn't tell me that explicitly, but yknow, I heard it from Steven, the camera-guy so... Max: I think there are some things that need to be brought up to the producers-- Rubix: Tune in next week! Tetsui goes on her date she won with Sozen! ON A CRUISE SHIP, a deckside picnic is set up, complete with a red-and-white checked blanket, a basket, and some grapes. Sozen and Tetsui sit comfortably next to each other, looking out over the Sea of a Thousand Currents. [center]Sozen: So you were born here? Tetsui (nodding): Yes, the clan I came from, they've always been in the water lands. It was nice here, as a hatchling. I'm happy to have the chance to come back. Um. Thank you, I guess, for that. Sozen: ... My pleasure. I mean, this whole thing wasn't exactly my idea. Tetsui: It wasn't? I thought you needed a bride. Sozen: Well, I do, to continue my father's lineage, but... I mean, this show is kind of weird and convoluted, isn't it? There's something I can't put my finger on. I thought I was going to go on a heroes journey, to test my might and my wit against foes and go on an adventure. Tetsui: Well... isn't this an adventure? Sozen: I guess so.[/center] He stops and turns to look at the young nocturne beside him. [center]Sozen: You're very.. um.. your eyes match the water. Tetsui: Yeah.[/center] She darts forward to kiss him then. Violins begin to play?! Sozen pulls back, flustered, colour to his crystal cheeks, and Tetsui looks away shyly. [center]Tetsui: I'm sorry. Sozen: What is that?[/center] A string quartet comes around the corner, and leading the group is a green skink Imperial. The music swells. It's very dramatic, and romantic, and Tetsui rests her head on Sozen's svelte shoulder. CUT SCENE. [center]Tetsui: Excuse me for a moment.[/center] She gets up from the picnic and darts off to quarters unseen. The string quartet takes five, and the imperial makes his way over to Sozen. [center]Thanatos: That's your girl? Sozen: ... I'm not sure. I don't really know what's going on. Thanatos: Things look nice. I'm Thanatos, by the way. Sozen: Sozen.[/center] We CUT back to Tetsui, looking over the railings at the cascading waters cresting over the ship's bow. She takes a deep breath. She seems to be giving herself a pep talk. [center]Tetsui: It's okay. You can do this. He believes in you; you can trust him. Maybe there's a future with him? Don't be silly. It could all work out in the end. Okay...[/center] She turns, and scuttles back towards the picnic. She rounds the corner, and we round it with her. There's the checkered blanket, and on it sit Sozen and Thanatos. Kissing. Rubix pops up out of, like, no where, and Tetsui shrieks. [center]Tetsui: [i]Stop doing that.[/i] Rubix: What an interesting turn of events! How will the ladies at home react to our newest contestant?! Tetsui: What? Rubix: What? I mean, look at them. It's an instant connection. I'll go ask him to sign the contract, did you catch his name? Tetsui: What?[/center] [rule] [center][font=monospace]Next time on ... the Bachelor![/font] [item=Sweet Grass][/center] Okay but seriously. First RNG i rolled for a dragon from my lair to add …. Was Sozen’s sister. Then it was my eternal youth nocturne, Lemonade. Then WvW fodder. And then we were blessed with Thanatos, and things got interesting. I mean this episode basically wrote itself. Two episodes today, because I mean... I couldn't wait any longer to introduce him. Butterfly secondary means he starts with 3 hearts.
