RoR ESCAPE!! Game 2017
You trot over to a quiet side room, the glimpse of something sparkling at the edge of your tourchlight enough to arouse curiousity. Pushing the humble door aside, you quickly find yourself surrounded by strands upon strands of a beaded material. Taken aback, you almost don't notice the worker's diagram left on a table in the back corner. In the pool of light of what you can see, you notice that the book is picturing differnt makes and meanings behind the belts. The title reads [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2285555]"Gift of the Exalted".[/url]
Clearly pictured in the margins are the meanings of different colors: Green belts for scholars, blue for warriors, yellow for acolytes, and pink for retirees. Intrigued, you gently pick up a piece of stone that looks like it was partway through being carved and broken down for use in one of these belts. It may just be good to hang onto this for now...

A light in the distance catches your attention. A shiver runs down your spine, but you approach it carefully, not taking your eyes off of it for fear of it turning into something unpleasant. As you finally reach its forlorn place, you find a small lantern, made of ornate metal and clear glass panels, with little vents in the top of it. It is hanging off of a hook higher up the wall, allowing it to dangle and swing. You take a sigh of relief. It's just a lantern. ....only question is, who lit it? You suddenly feel your hackles raise, and you look about you, a growing sense of alarm inside you as you feel SOMETHING watching you....
When the lantern starts to sway on its hook, causing the metal to rub and shriek, you dash away, back to the main hall, and out of sight.

The kitchen! Just look at this place! Heavy stone countertops, ovens and stove tops galore! Heavy iron pots and pans hang on walls, looking like they are just asking to be used once more. Glancing about, you spot a small binder, and eagerly pull it down. The pages fall open upon being placed on the counter, and you are treated with an interesting recipe:
Classic Morning Pick-Me-Up
A surefire way to rouse any sleepy clan
16 cups water (or 8 mugs worth)
12 molten tadpoles
1 cup roasted and ground java sparrow bones
2 dried cinnamon loaches
1 tablespoon honey
8 dreamwakers
dash of cinnamon
1. Place water in a medium-sized pot, adding molten tadpoles to heat.
2. Once hot, stir in the java sparrow grounds and cinnamon loaches, being sure to stir consistently.
3. After about 5 minutes, strain out the toads, and most of the grounds, leaving a few bits of cinnamon loach if desired, and adding in honey.
4. Pour brew into 8 mugs, garnishing with a dreamwaker and a dash of cinnamon.
Enjoy! A family favorite that delights children with the colorful frog surprise, and adults with the much-needed surge of morning energy.

Pulling on it, you cannot seem to budge whatever it is attached to. A way out, perhaps? You muse, giving up on pulling it up for the moment in favor of searching about for more clues.

You deserved so much to get out of this place. I am deeply sorry that I shall not be able to fulfill my duty as your father- I can not protect you as I wanted. But you- you may yet have a chance at the life I can no longer live.
I have deduced part of the combination needed to escape this place. The others here do not wish for anyone to leave, so I must keep this knowledge secret. I have hidden various numerals around the library to mark my progress. The mantel is the key to their meaning. I cannot say more for fear that they shall discover and remove your means of freedom. Good luck, my hatchling."

A calming presence seems to fill this room. Perhaps it is the pink drapes from the ceiling, or the fact that it is relatively untouched by mold and whatever entity was tossing about things in other rooms. In either case, this room felt calmer. You flop down on the large bed, and are instantly surprised by a jingling sound. Scrabbling around under the stack of pillows, you fish out- a key ring! With three keys on it! A small ribbon is tied to the ring as well:

Judging by the copious grooves and divets surrounding the edge, someone - or something - had tried to escape through here. You cautiously poke your head through the doorway, your torch lighting the other side. Sitting just to the right of the door is a smooth, shimmering form- a statue of a regal-looking tundra sculpted from pure marble. Further beyond is a broad tunnel, likewise filled in with debris from collapse. It seems this may have at one point or another been the front gate. It looks unusuable now.
