Snowbelle spun around eagerly as he waited for other contestants to enter the waiting area, smiling widely. His brother Drown had told him about the Winter Games, and naturally they had to compete! While his brother would be doing a different skating event on another day, Snowbelle was immediately drawn to Speed Skating-ice-related activities -even better, ones with speed- had always been a specialty of his!
Of course, he was nowhere near perfect, and his excitement often caused more than a few silly mistakes and accidents, but hey, the point is to have fun! He didn't much care if he won or lost, only that he could show people how fast he could go after years of racing-well, himself!

He swipes the damp edges of his fringe away from his antennae, huffing a bit as his eyes hunt for his wayward pupil (he could have sworn that he'd caught a blur of him near the lower stands...). But alas, the Coatl seems to not have stuck around to greet him like with his earlier performance.
He tucks any traces of his disappointment away from the "smile" he gives to the journalist that has taken Yuuri's spot. Viktor wasn't really in the best of moods to entertain the press, but still he allowed the nearly vibrating ball of fins and dyed(?) fur to pull him aside.

Sorry for the confusion, but you need to pick five different events to enter. As you already did Figure Skating, you'd need to enter a different event for it to count.

With game booths for even the little ones to play, dragons can win plushies, figurines, and wooden toys by playing Toss the Rings around Reindeer Antlers, Pop the Snowball Balloons, Duck Pond, and Pingpong Ball and Fish Bowl.[/size]

@Marianette After a long day training for the competition, Yuna stopped by the Fish Bowl game on her way back to her quarters. She tossed the ball and a goldfish jumped out of the bowl, caught it in his mouth, and landed back in the water. "We have a winner!" called out the attendant.

@LadySiren Mistress saw her competition stopping by one of the midway booths; curious, she decided to go investigate for herself. After seeing the Skydancer win, the fae purchased a round and give it a try. Her last ball landed in a bowl. "We have ANOTHER WINNER!" called out the attendant.

@Ragnell Enchantress approached the Adopt a Familiar and was stopped by the energetic Spiral working the booth. "Hello! How are you today? We need to rehome a gold fish that would like warmer territory. Perhaps your clan would like to give him a home?" The next thing the Pearlcatcher knew, she had a new companion for her clan.

Breeze was more than ready for this. During her last trip to the Southern Icefield, she had watched so many dragons take on this same challenge. They moved with ease and grace, in a way that she had never seen before. She was amazed by how fast they went, skiing between the poles as if they were nothing. It was on that day that she decided she was going to participate next year.
Of course, it took a lot of training. In fact, she started the very next day. For the past year, she spent all of her free time getting better and better. At first, many dragons said she couldn't do it. She had started too late, and she just wasn't cut out for the cold chilly environment. But man, was she about to prove them wrong.
"And next up, from the Starlight Isle....Breeze!"
The sound of her name forced her back into reality. The crowd cheered as she took a deep breath and stepped up to her starting position. It was time.

His father and his father before him had all been great skiers, who could go for great distances at great speeds. They all found a sense of comfort in the heavy snow underneath, and the bright blue sky above, stretching on for what seemed like eternity. Skiing was a way they were all connected, and throughout this competition, Frost felt like they were right there with him. He heard them cheering his name, and he felt them pushing him forward. He wanted to make them proud much more than he wanted to win. So, he kept his head down and his pace steady, giving it everything he had until the very end.
