Vidoxi you do not have to follow every rule. Actually if you read deeper that is one rule that is addressed in more detail and different manners it can be done or overlooked. I personally just handed my babies out as freebies to newbies when they joined. :)

I understand the concern, but this challenge was adapted from the 100 Baby Challenge from the Sims series, where raising a child properly was an integral part. c:
In the Sims, it would be all too easy for one's matriarch to have a random man's baby and then just continuously age her offspring up using the same cake and the same candles on the day it's born so that he or she can become an adult and get out of her hair. Lather, rinse, repeat. However, that's not the point of the challenge. The point is to raise her kids, and once the kid reaches a certain level of proficiency at whatever stage of life they're in (level 3 in all toddler skills or becoming an A-student as a child and then as a teenager), they may advance to the next stage and get closer to making that sweet house-space back for more kids.
Since there's no way to actually "raise hatchlings" on Flight Rising, I wanted to emulate the spirit (and difficulty!) of the original challenge by including a rule where each needs a long-term home. As @Serenefire mentioned, I elaborated more on it and what this really means:

This includes using the Auction House to sell hatchlings or non-RTB adult progeny at above-fodder prices (to substantially lessen the chances of them being immediately exalted or exalt-trained) or to just sell RTB adult progeny at fodder price.
Of course, if you want to do a 100 Hatchling challenge and just exalt every hatchling the moment they're hatched, then you do you. c: I just felt I should explain my thought process behind that rule and why I opted to make it so relatively difficult compared to, say, the Breed Out the Ugly Challenge.

I loosely interpreted that rule as being "you cannot just use this challenge as a fodder mill". I pretty much keep any offspring until they are RTB unless someone expresses interest in them. If a dragon isn't adopted by the time they are RTB, I place them on a random swap thread (ie the give a tundra/ get a tundra swap).
