Due to renewed interest, I am making a new public hub for my Nature subspecies, the Gladeveinians. The previous hub was only in the Nature Forums, repurposed from the original thread where I pitched the idea. Hopefully this new hub will assist anyone interested in them, regardless of Flight status. Let's spread the subspecies love! [size=6][b][color=#2d9025]Lore[/b][/size] [list][*] [b][color=#324ba9]Specially evolved from tree dragons to better live in the Gladeveins (and camoflague with the blue water throughout) [*][b][color=#2d9025] Good swimmers [*][b][color=#324ba9] Webbing between toes often found as an adaptation [*][b][color=#2d9025] Skin dries out easily like an amphibian [*][b][color=#324ba9] Active in the morning and afternoon, but not so much in midday sun [*] [b][color=#2d9025]Nature magic works best towards growing mosses and aquatic plants [*][b][color=#324ba9] Good sense of direction and mental maps in order to effectively navigate the winding Gladeveins [*] [b][color=#2d9025]Value swimming speed and agility, and often envious of water dragons' magic[*][b][color=#324ba9] Like certain frog species, they are known to carry their eggs around on their backs for safety. (Thanks Kataric!) As Nature eggs resemble seeds, Gladeveinian eggs often resemble wet chia seeds, developing a slimy coating so they stick better to the parent. Holy Beardmomma!) by me, Ashawott. The first Gladeveinian dragon brought to life was Sevde, by Turtlekit.[*]To preserve the distinct and unified look of the subspecies, it is safe to assume that no new genes will be added until otherwise stated.[*]Again, there is no official registry to maintain. A dragon can call itself a Gladeveinian as long as it meets the above criteria.[*]I will try and update the showcase, pinglist, etc. at least once a month.[*]Anyone is welcome to use the pinglist for sales, requests, etc. Anyone [i]joining[/i] the pinglist should keep that in mind! @Turtlekit What lovely babies! Congratulations! It’s so wonderful to see the oldest line is still active! I have two pairs that might be able to help you get an unrelated Gladeveinian. They’re thanks to Ricochet from the old thread, who gifted me a Gladeveinian male guardian from their pair. Depending on your timeframe I’m happy to keep breeding them till I get just the right colors! They’re plentiful breeds so that should help. I have enough right now to brew poison but not toxin, so I could get her part of the way there if you give me the go-ahead to breed them.
