what was the first breed in flight rising? I just scryed "12" (the minimum number for morphology ID) and got an imperial, so were they first? if anyone's an FR veteran, tell me if you know.

Pretty sure it must've been Faes since they're breed with ID 1 (ID of breed, visible in scry url, not ID of an exact dragon), but IIRC all four starter breeds (Fae, Tundra, Mirror and Guardian) were relased plus minus in the same time.

Dragon with ID #12 (aka the 12th dragon on site) about which you're talking about is a dragon of one of admins who used to be a Fae but due to one player's thread wondering if a G1 Imperial is more worth than dragon #12 he got changed to an Imperial.

i don't know if imps were the first breed developed for FR, but they do have some old beta art here.

If I'm remembering correctly, we started with ten breeds! Fae, Tundra, Mirror, Guardian, Pearlcatcher, Ridgeback, Snapper, Spiral, Wildclaw and Imperial. Imps were kickstarter-backer exclusive, and Snaps and Spirals were stretch goals that were met. The next breed released after that were Skydancers, which were designed by a kickstarter-backer as the top tier of KS support. Next were Coatls, then Nocturnes, then Bogsneaks, then the Ancients started coming in - Gaolers, Banescales, Veilspun, then the Obelisks, then back to Ancients with Aberrations and most recently, our new Undertides, bringing the total number of breeds on the site to 20, and doubling our initial roster! However!
