Make sure you're using the direct image link! These links end in a file extension such as .jpg, .png, or .gif.

I want to make a drawing to put in WayFinder's (the dragon in my profile pic) bio. But if the pictures don't show up there's no point in me drawing it. So I'm testing with another drawing that I've uploaded both to my deviantart and on discord. I of course have the file itself too but I can't copy the image link for that.
I used to be able to upload pictures just fine but it doesn't work anymore and I don't get why.
People said discord have told me to click on "copy message link" if I want to post it like that. Is that the wrong thing to click on? And if I'm trying from deviantart I press "Copy image address". I've tried straight up copying the link too. Is this just a case of me clicking on the wrong thing?

Apparently I WAS clicking on the wrong thing. I was clicking "Copy Message Link". I just noticed there's another option further down that says just "Copy Link" and that works. Thanks for helping tho!

@Toasty22 click on the tree icon right above the box where you write stuff, and paste the link you have in your post into the window that pops up.
also for future reference you can make your own threads for your own questions by clicking on the "+new" button in upper corner of forum :)
