Hello, I'm Origami! Currently, I'm looking for a partner to do some RPing for a variety of different topics. I'm currently on break from college.
All of the prompts can be romance or friendships. I just want to have fun with them.
As a roleplayer, I'm literate (2-5 paragraphs) but very casual. If we're doing something with a lot of character interaction, one of us is stuck for ideas, or our personal lives are getting hectic, then throw a short reply and a brackets comment and I'm happy. Or if you're not feeling the RP and you want to switch gears and build a new world, tell me so we can go for it! Age-wise, I am 20, so I'd like it if you were around my age, at least 18+. Not planning on doing anything nsfw, it just makes me more comfortable.
Don't respond if you: aren't ok with LGBT+ characters or relationships or don't separate paragraphs.
With that out of the way, here are some ideas I have:
Coffee Shop Reality: we have a few characters who either work at or frequent a coffee shop. The employees and regulars deal with weird customers, jerks who don't tip, and breaking machines. Will they find love? Probably not, but I'll be fun to mess around with their lives.
Our ocs go to the same college- they've never met before, but one morning they wake up to hangovers to discover that they've signed a lease together and whoops they're going to be housemates for the next semester.
Down with the corporation: We each have ocs with their own small businesses (tattoo parlor, record/coffee/flowers/craft shop, bakery, hardware store, ect) on the same street. Everyone sort-of knows each other from seeing each other, but no one has really talked before. However, this big company is trying to buy an old building on our street to run someone else out of business, so somehow we're now planning a war. A very passive-aggressive war.
Some type of Fantasy- I play a lot of dnd, always have fun character ideas for this.
Some sort of mafia / gang thing? - can always be fun
Flight rising? - I love fr themed rps, but while i have lore in my head for dragons, it isn't often written out.
I also like warrior cat/animal rps, worldbuilding, fae, magical realism, etc.
I'm down for mixing these prompts, or even doing something radically different- these are sort of just a springboard to work off of. See anything you like? Tell me!

I recently got the opportunity to work from home, so I have plenty of time to check posts and reply daily...which means I'm in the perfect situation to actually start some RPs again!
(Also hello fellow D&D friend!)
I'd love to try either some sort of fantasy-esque or FR type RP. I have lore on my dragons' pages, though they're not fully typed out; more just outlines right now. I've just begun the process of an entire lair/lore overhaul. I also have TONS of D&D characters I could use because I like to make sheets even though I don't have enough games to play them in ahaha.
I can also do modern settings, but I always like a little supernatural mixed in. Maybe its modern with magic, or modern where supernatural things exist? I guess kind of a World of Darkness type setting. (Might also be because I'm listening to this supernatural mystery podcast, but I'm definitely in the mood for something spooky :D)
But hit me up! I can either do Discord, Forums, or that ancient relic - Skype.

I would say..."modern"? The whole premise is, they're all employees trying to research unnatural phenomenon. This could be supernatural events or creatures tied to the Shade, unexplainable events, or magical abilities that don't seem tied to any Deity. Stuff that is outside the natural world of Sorienth. :D
It's at least modern enough that some tech has been created in residents in the Shifting Expanse. Eibon even has a primitive voice recorder he's eager to use for statements.
Really I'm open to anyone that has lore. That includes some of the "Cryptids" like Adrian or Eibon. And also basically my entire lair is LGBTQ+. I really have no strict preferences for any of them. :) The only pair that is an established couple is Eibon and Dispel so they wouldn't be open to any romance.
Oh interesting! I wonder if the hotel would have any spooky goings ons the Institute could explore. Or perhaps house one of my wanderers!

I am a sucker for fantasy and some form of romance subplot. I am still a newbie when it comes to DnD, but I am no stranger to creating characters (if given some time).
I have a lady, who is technically put in the Marvel universe, but I can easily pluck her out and use her for something else.
I am 21 years of age, so that's for sure 18+, haha. Besides that, I have a lot of time! I do have some issues which causes me to lose energy fast, so I might not be able to write every day ;u;
