So I’m thinking of trying my hand at commissions for both USD and FR currency. I could really use some help estimating what I should charge so if you or someone you know could give me an estimate (especially concerning real money) I would really appreciate it. Examples down below. But first, let’s talk about that free art you came here for. I want to practice some stuff I normally don’t draw so I can add it to my example list below. So I am looking to draw the three following things: 1: headshot of a dragon wearing a ridiculous amount of stuff. Give me your most gaudy dragon! Genes, accents, apparel- pile it on. (no faes please :( still cant draw those suckers) 2: mech/robot. I will be doing a lineart/flat color for this one. (I drew a robot….once…. ) 3: Full color furry. I need to practice my fur detail. You could draw any dragon from my lair! They don't have too much apparel, but there may be something there.

I'm not very good at pricing, but in FR currency maybe something over 60-100kt?

@SylviaDragon Hi! I have a little experience with pricing art and I'd say the best way to do it is to value it by the time you put into it. Like if you can dish out a headshot sketch in a few minutes 15-30kt or g will probably get you lots of buyers. I always try to remember tho that $1=100g so if you want to give yourself a "minimum wage" per say, for every hour you spend drawing you can charge 800-1000g. But of course this only works well for you if you can get big pieces like paintings done within the hour! Unfortunately for more inexperienced artists (like myself ;-;) we have to underprice our work a bit to get anyone to buy it cause not many people want to spend $40 even on a really nice painting, even if it took the artist days to make it! (Sorry I went on a bit I hope any of that was helpful). I think your art does look really great though and people will mostly be willing to spend more to buy it! @SylviaDragon I'd say your art is worth maybe 200g! It's incredible :O IRL, though, it'd be around $10.
