TOPIC | Site login problem
There's a long standing problem with logging in to the site where you can log in to the 'Home' page but any time you travel elsewhere you get logged out. The problem seems to be two-fold;
  1. the URL for the home page is "www1.flightrising.com" where as subsequent pages are "flightrising.com" - the addition/removal of "www1" is significant (its presense also affects site wide links; on the home page they include the "www1", after than they don't).
  2. because of the above, it appears the cookie storing session/login data is being read incorrectly so the site thinks that when the user visits the latter URL they are no longer logged in.
The fix usually means either having to login to the Home page and logout to clear session/login data, to then log back in and have the correct data 'stick'. Or clearing browser cache to remove old cookie data and have it regenerated at next log in.

It's a minor issue but slightly annoying because the problem seems to happen randomly (from the users point of view - it's likely the result of a server update which changes a site or server file in some way that requires new session data).

Just an FYI (couldn't find any topic/s on this searching)

@Katsbits: Yes this is a known issue. The most common fix to log out and back in (both from the home page). Which is slightly shorter than what you described. Other than that there's nothing much to do about it now. But once the entire site has migrated to the www1 server, this issue should also be resolved! c:

I'll be locking this thread now as it is a known issue. Thank you for reporting!
