TOPIC | Crystal gene
Hey guys, I had a quick question.

If you have a dragon with the crystal gene, can it pass that on to its offspring?

Thanks!

@LexAngel Yep! If the Crystal dragon is bred to a basic dragon, or one with a treasure-bought primary gene, the odds of it passing down Crystal are pretty low, though :(

@LexAngel

In short: yes.
This applies to all genes, and colors of offspring will be between the colors of the adults. However, the rarer the gene, the less 'dominant' it is. A dragon with crystal, bred with a dragon with a basic primary, will give a basic primary 99% of the time. Two dragons with crystal, however, will always produce offspring with crystal.
