hey, yes, hi i play tf2. i actually run a tf2 blog on tumblr and a few bouts of writing on ao3 for tf2. i play as sniper or soldier and i think my username gives away who my favorite is.

Used to play. Don't play at the moment because I'm on an eight year old loaner iMac that can run it, but it runs like crap. I miss playing. ;-; Mained soldier, heavy, and medic. Towards the end of my last phase of playing it obsessively I was trying to get better at sniper, though.

Estorque; Lol you showed my dumb merc dragons. I saw this thread and was gonna put em' here anyways. I spent a lot of money on my Spee so somebody ought to see him! :J
On topic: yes. I love TF2. I knew about it for years but never actually got into the fandom until... -looks at watch- Four months ago! All the wasted years...
I actually just really love the lore more than the game to be honest. I'm not into shooters, but the TF2 comic and shorts were overflowing with so much personality I fell in love with the characters. Still trying to get good at the game anyway tho in my spare time. Medic main here. Cool that this community has a few players! I've been trying to find some folks interested in it now that I'm so late to the party. Let's all huddle together for warmth. :'U

I'm terrible at playing anything FPS, and yet TF2 STOLE MY HEART. And my spleen. And one of my lungs. And I think that's a hand over there... I got blown up a lot. (the machine I have to work with can take some of the blame, but definitely not all of it-- and I get so nervous about dragging down a team that I wind up not joining games a lot of the time even when I'm free to)
When I *do* play, I main as Medic, sometimes Heavy. I mean, I prefer playing as Medic. Unlike my brother, I don't even go combat medic, I really do just try to keep my team healed. I just wind up dying a lot... so I'm not necessarily the most useful medic to have.
Even though I play Medic most, I think it's VERY fair to say my favorite class is Spy (followed by Sniper, and then Medic and Pyro... Pyro because wow, so much freedom for headcanons, no gender needed...)
