In the midst of weaving through a myriad of colors he found himself clumsily stumbling across dragon-- a Coatl such as himself. The stranger's attire and body alike were both very vibrant in color--and add a dragon of darkness he despised it as much as he envied it.
Koli had come to the gathering in search of acquaintances; his lair was scarce and he longed for stimulating conversation.
"... what are you doing here anyways? "

"... what are you doing here anyways? "
"Well...you're a Guardian, and I thought. ...maybe. ..you could help with my strength. ...I'd help with magic at least!!" Elise looked noticeably embarrassed by the question.

The first thing Eminence's wings do is floof up mid-flight, but he looks down at the coatl whom he bumped into. "Excuse me?!?" Was his first snappy answer.
He then stops to ponder on that question. A resigned sigh escaped him. "I'm here to 'socialise'. My clan leader insisted it would be good for me."

Though they may have started off rocky, this Coatl was the first person he had actually talked to since he arrived-- in fact it was debatable if he would've talked to anyone at all if he wasn't bumped into.
A resounding 'hmph' would escape his maw, before he found himself admitting that he was here for that exact same reason.

"Hmph.. you aren't kidding.,.." Koli would growl in return, slowly but surely adjusting himself so that they could converse more freely with this new coatl. His compliment wouldn't go unnoticed, as briefly Koli would smile-- barely able to contain his excitement.
Him? Intelligent? Hardly.. he barely had a functioning clan or friends.. but it was a nice thing to hear nonetheless.
"..The name's Koli. It's.. It's a pleasure to meet you." He would retort-- sound almost like a purr as it escaped his maw.

"Eminence is what they call me." He replies in a voice as smooth as silk. Adjusting his glasses once more, he looks about. Surely he wasn't exoected to socialize with EVERYONE, right? One person was more than enough, or so he believed.

"Eminence.. Eminence.." He would repeat the name multiple times to ensure he'd remember it in the future, after all-- he found his 'acquaitance' he was looking for after all.
"Well it is certainly a pleasure to meet you. I almost thought I would go another gathering without finding someone to talk to--" Before he could continue with his small banter, a soft growling would rumble from his underbelly; he still hadn't eaten yet-- as his nervous ticks made him not hungry earlier that morning.
"Do you wish head to the woodlands with me? I still need to gather some berries for my clan.. and I'm quite hungry myself."

A female tundra walks into the crowd, looking around in amazement at all of the different dragons flitting about. A small ember mouse was perched between her neck and wing, quietly chittering. She usually didn't socialize outside of her clan, preferring to scavenge or dig for interesting items to add to her hoard. However, at her clan-mate's insistence, she had decided to come out and talk.
And so far, it was worth it. Granted, she hadn't talked to anybody yet, but just the sight of so many dragons in one place was awe-inspiring. Her clan wasn't anywhere [i]near[/i] that big! She almost couldn't wrap her head around it.
" Wow, I can't believe I've never done this before! Marcus was right, I really do need to do this more."
((Eyo, suuuuper new rper here. I've always wanted to try my hand at it, but never had the right place to do it, but this seems like the perfect place to practice at!))
