Dragon Share

She's named for a friend's character: a magic user who became an angel's vessel named Mordechai, but nicknamed Felix. He's got a heart of gold (to match his angel's wings!), so when I saw her on the marketplace (especially since I was looking to have a female namesake for this particular character), she was perfect. But really expensive. The two things I'm proudest of are her name (Luck in Hebrew for his cognomen, and Myrrh to reference his given name, which means 'pure myrrh') and how hard I worked to earn her. It took a lot of hard work and dedication in the fairgrounds over about the course of a week or so, but I saved up enough to buy her (and the person I bought her from was nice enough to hold her for me, for which I'm extremely grateful~) And now she's going to be a mate to a couple different dragons and hopefully I'll have lots of sparkly hatchlings

[img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/28950/2894933_350.png[/img] Nomad here is just what her name implies. A traveler unlikely to remain in one place for very long at all. Unfortunately her journeys haven't been kind and the scars she bears can attest to that. On the last and perhaps final adventure she was injured in The Abiding Boneyard of the Scarred Wasteland, she was rescued by a kindly plague Imperial, by the name of Bastille, brought her to a clan he knew of who had experience with infections from the plagued territory. They were successful but the damage to her wings meant she'd never fly again and the rot had taken her eye. Bastille stayed with her and they eventually became mates. She is Stone Ripple / Soil Shimmer / Maize Underbelly. When Ripple was first released, I decided that stone looked the best with it, so I found her and she was so perfect for the Earth theme I intended. But I've always had a weakness for Shimmer wings, so while she got Ripple and Underbelly, those remained. Her mate took a few weeks to find because I wanted the chance of a few orange or yellow winged babies to fulfill my muted primary/colorful secondaries sort of theme I have going. After some searching and some genes I wound up with a Brown Bar / Fire Shimmer / Maize Underbelly boy for her. Finally finding a dragon to properly represent Earth had been a long time in the making and while I'd had others in the past, none had screamed "UNSHAKABLE ROCK" as perfectly as her.

This is a really tough question, but one of my favorite dragons has to be [b]Tomte[/b]! [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=7358223] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/73583/7358223_350.png[/img] [/url] First, I absolutely love Tomte's color and gene combinations. I think he's an absolutely gorgeous dragon. I feel like the color of his eyes is a nice contrast to his white body, and a nice compliment to the shimmer of his wings. Of all of my dragons, Tom is one of the most laid back. He's always chilled out and rarely on high alert, sitting around humming songs and thinking about poetry. Tom would have to be the clan's bard, if anything.
