Malachite here might be Plague-born, but he acts more like he was Shadow-born for all of his love of tricks and pranks.

Norshe is one of the dragons who trains the clan's dragons, most of whom go off to the Windsinger once their training is finished. While dragons who enter his tutelage finish their training fairly quickly, none would to return to him any time soon. His methods are rather brutal, after all...

Laya - a fallen queen of sorts. She was once the leader of a band of dragons who wandered much like Mirror dragons do. The group traveled from one place to another, doing what they could to survive, whether by thieving or by other means. When they came too close to a certain lair, their ranks were mowed down on the grounds of trespassing. The few survivors ended up scattered. As one of the survivors, Laya first found herself in the Sea of a Thousand Currents before she went to the Windswept Plateau, where she has settled...for the time being. This is one queen who doesn't want to stay a follower.

This is Venacava. She turned up on the way back from gathering one day with several, not blood blisters, but something that looked like them scattered across her body. They seem to be some kind of regulatory structure, like countercurrent heat exchangers or secondary filtration, but whatever they are, they might not be working properly. Her skin's starting to bleach.
