I had a five egg nest. And they all freaking survived. I have four females now, when I started I had 1 female and there ended up being 4 guys within a few days(grinding and finding eggs, yo, good stuff) .
I have eleven males now, so yeah... swapping would be nice, but I've already made plans for like, all of my hatchlings, pff...

I'm hatching a two egg nest in three days. I'm really hoping for more females... otherwise everyone's gonna be related to each other. And then it will be hard to breed new dragons...

If I get a male there, you can have him if you want I really don't need another one

Hatched a nest today; one survivor. [Of three, and they were all spirals, too. He's so pink, though. It's great.

@noodlesthing [b]Journal Entry 6 : Of Nests and Eggs[/b] [i]Hello hello! This time I’m the one writing the clan’s records! As Serenity is off teaching Celina her letters today. I’m excused as she says that I’ve got all the required basics and need to practice more, thus me writing this right now! Okay, back to the main purpose of these records which, I quote, are ‘Documenting major and important happenings that happen in the clan. About matters of nests, hatchlings, food, and other various matters.’. So back to the beginning: After Celina was sufficiently grown up enough such that we didn’t need to watch her all day every day, I asked Serenity [b]the[/b] question of how eggs were made. She just stared at me with a weird look before telling me to wait for her at one of the clan’s empty nests at moonrise. That night, once the moon had come out, I perched on a fallen branch by one of the four empty nests. Silently Serenity landed on the branch right next to me, and told me of the magics involved in the creation of eggs by two dragons. Apparently for Shadow nests, the magic has to be cast at the night, when Shadowbinder’s power is the strongest. She also explained that this magic was unlike the residual currents that flowed in each dragon; this type of magic needed weeks to regenerate before it could be used again. I also learned that the nests in each clan are special locations where the magical currents pool and promotes for the formation of eggs. The next few minutes were a blur for me as it was my first time using such magic, but after the spell, we had a good clutch of 3 eggs in our nest! Here's the remainder of the ceremony that he left out... Each dragon had an innate pool of magic that was required for the creation of eggs. The magic doesn’t actually create the eggs, it just gives the respective flight’s deities a base to work on for the unhatched eggs that will be subsequently created and placed in the nests. It doesn’t hurt that the excess magic power will be added to the deity’s residual strength. I instructed Zelin how to locate and identify the pool of magic and the technique of merging the magical currents as it is released to the Shadowbinder. As we sent this magic up towards the night, we could faintly see the shadowy currents fly up towards the night sky and towards the central shrine where the Shadowbinder resides. Several moments later, a dark shadow appeared before us, it had the vague form of the Shadowbinder, and yet had a incorporeal nature: an avatar of the Goddess herself. The avatar breathed out a plume of dark magic and the hollowed out trunk that was the nest soon filled with a dark substance. Once the three eggs were fully formed and glowed a healthy blue, the shadow disappeared, fading away into the night. These eggs will have to be incubated for a week before they would be ready to hatch. In the meantime we need to get more insects for the incoming hatchlings.
