In case of skins, they've been really making sure there is no depiction of the dragon suffering so no wounds, not even "aesthetic" ones - like a, ultimately pretty cartoony, cross-section (you can still find old skins sporting that feature tho!). This means making plaguey skins is quite hard as the color red and passing the skin submission queue often don't agree with each other.

As for why, it probably has to do with the sites' 13+ rating. In the past it just wasn't that cracked down on

Just looking at the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/3382136/1#post_3382136]2024 dom stats[/url], y'all made top 3 "only" 8 times but each of those was a first-place win (more times than any other flight!), and then there was the wildly successful battle vs Ice... I haven't been keeping a close eye on this year's stats but unless things are significantly changing on the back end I'd hardly say Wind isn't a strong dom flight :v

I find this thread interesting since I am a true techie, but also wondered what people thought about their flights, but had no idea how to phrase the questions. :)

I don't really engage with the lore here and run my account much differently than others, but I still wanna throw in a few of my thoughts.


Lightning pros:

* Honestly love the unique deity design, though I am an OC and AU lair and therefore have no attachment for lore.

* Robots, tech, sci-fi; My OCs are within various settings similar to this, so it fits perfectly.

* Neat primal; Can be used for various things, not just electricity, imo. Has a lot of potential, like light primal.



Cons:

* Not super common dominance (? I don't use it for anything but discounts, but I fail at saving money here)

* Tbh, the lore behind the flight; I only like so many big business plots but eh...Also the ancient being gem shop hurts this more. That's old stuff though and you don't have to read or abide by it (and Surges are cheaper in AH) so it's all good.

Just avoid referring to Stormcatcher as 'Boss' around me and the Big Boss, Fear. XD



I swapped from Shadow, but admittedly, I only joined Shadow because I had to just hurry up due to joining FR on an old iPad that kept crashing the site.


Pros:

* Pretty colors, and rather easy on the eyes.

* Eye color is nice too.

* Also interesting deity design.


Main cons:

* Was hoping it was more 'evil' / darkness vs pranksters / shrooms. Guess I'd join the Shade, lol.

* Primal isn't everyone's thing, like Plague.

* Little to no dom.

I can't comment on social media/Discord as a non user. XD

Yeah, adding on to the above discussion- wind, even a few years back, was definitely one of the less dom-oriented flights, but we've hugely picked up the slack! I would say it's a pretty good place to be right now if that's your playstyle preference.

EDIT: Forgot a con! Sorry. Maybe just the kind of... restrictive aesthetic elements? We got kites, breezes, corgis- lovely stuff, but I feel like there's less room for creativity and differentiation than some other flights, maybe?
