Your whole lair fits into my sense of taste, so it's really hard to pick just one...
They all share a particular feeling you get when you look at them. Like... I'm bad with words, so allow me to try and describe it as a scenery:
[i]It's late autumn. The sun was still high above when you set your foot out to see the woods, but now, the clouds are getting dark.
You know it's going to rain.
It caught you in the middle of a field. A familliar route; you've crossed it hundred times before. The forest laid right ahead of it.
A field of golden rye... It's golden glow now mudded.
You look up into the sky to see the culprits behind the abducted light. You find the black clouds tearing apart.
Your heart skips a beat before you realize that it's just crows. They're flying in a dense flock, so high that it seems like they're part of the clouds' flesh developing a mind of it's own. They scream, and a thunder echoes their shrill call. The wind soon catches up to this awful orchestra as it blows into your back, urging you to keep moving forward. The first drops of rain shoot the dancing leaves like arrows from above. Turn, turn, turn, you think. But the forest murmurs you to hide within it's calming shade. [/i]
I agree, iri does look perfect on obelisks, and I also prefer female obelisks for their adorable pose. Your Ciirka also reminds me of a siamese cat, I believe it's on purrrpose. She's got calm yet rich colors, a very natural yet outstanding look to her. A pleasure for my eyes, truly. <3

[b]Veeruska[/b] - O be still, mine heart! I am catastrophically weak for guardians. Designation as common does nothing to deteriorate my appreciation of these handsome critters. They have such deliciously classical draconic charm, it's impossible not to feel like reading a fairytale when you admire them for too long.
Veeruska more than lives up to that ideal! She looks lavished upon, dipped in gold and heavy with expensive baubles. A noble daughter who's dazzling countenance fills the room like the heady, rich parfum of a censer swinging to and fro. Her silks curl and float around her, like court dancers, with the clink of coin as their music.
Everything about this Guardian effuses luxury and expense, but she is hardly the stolid King, sitting still upon a static throne. Though she is deliberate and thoughtful about her choices, the image is a dynamic one. Those who are distracted by the opulence of her trappings will miss the sharpness of her claws, the ferocity of her bite, the tension under her scales...
This is a dragon who is powerful, affluent and happy to prove you her courage at your peril, of course..
