Best of luck outside FR!

NOTN has been a nice thing that's happened to me, I've been able to make significant progress on all my g1 plans!

My favorite FR memory was when there was that Boolean giveaway years ago where you had to make something to enter the contest. I marinated on it for a few days then in Michaels I spotted a plaster skull.

My only thought was "Yes"

So I painted a skull in Boolean colors and styles. It was a fun little project and the first time I had painted in years. I even told my therapist I was getting back into art. My family was so encouraged! I neglected to mention it was an attempt to win a priceless bug friend.

Of course I didn't win, but the project still turned out cool and I posted it on my personal social media. A friend of a friend saw it, said I should come to a free art class at a local community center. This was 2014, I was unemployed and depressed so why not? Time goes by and the art teacher needs to move on to another job, they ask if I'll take over teaching that class. I do, then I take on another class, then a third.

Now I work there as the assistant director of community resources, diaper bank, food pantry, free classes, etc.

So when I tell people this dragon game changed the trajectory of my life I'm not joking. I truly love it here.

Wishing you all the best outside of FR! I can't think of any particular FR memory, but I participate a lot in dom initiatives, so my favourite times to play FR is when Wind is pushing (doubly so when we're battling another flight) [emoji=wind rune size=1]

I don't have a FR memory, but I do love all the community events that pop up. Especially around the holidays with all the gift exchanges. Anon gifting is the most fun. I love seeing how people react to their presents.

Crows are so smart, you've probably heard they can be trained, or have seen a few playing around, but they also show compassion and empathy even when it puts them in direct danger, and they're so good at memorizing faces and communicating with each other that some rescuers wear masks that will cover their faces fully before attempting to grab a crow? This is because crows miles away from where they rescued and released the crow will begin attacking anyone wearing the mask!

I love her so much
