I got 4 eggs out of 10 chests yesterday. Granted, my luck hasn't consistently been like that, but I'd estimate I've opened ~300-350 chests and gotten almost 30 eggs.

I’ve opened 15 chests and have had 0 eggs so far. That’s never happened to me before at the beginning of the event. I’ve read the odds that others have had and it makes me scared to open any more. I’m just selling chests now. It’s less fun as I like to open chests, but I don’t want to get just 2 eggs out of 50 which seems very possible this year.

I've had decent luck until yesterday.
I opened around 200 chests yesterday and got like 3 eggs.
Just opened another 50 or so not too long ago, and got 3 eggs.
Luck is not on my side at all this NOTN.

I feel both like I'm not getting many chests and even worse so with eggs...

I've kept track for the last 2 years and averaged 1 egg per 16 chests. I'm keeping a tally so far for this year, so check in again come the 5th of January!

I opened 20 chests on Sunday, the first batch of 10 had two eggs, second batch had none. I've opened 10 chests each subsequent day and haven't gotten any. So 2/50 here.
