Snappers have been my favourite breed from the day I joined on :). I can barely imagine how much work was necessary to organize such an awesome year-long event and I am so exited to take part in it. Thank you so much for this :)!

I really love the idea of this, but I wish it was a bit friendlier to new players/players without a ton of money!
In particular the badge event and skin event paywall entry behind thousands of gems, which also prevents entering for the grand prize... I have a friend who loves Snappers but definitely won't be able to take part in this because of that.

@DKFlamey Thanks for the feedback! I have considered how expensive taking part in the events is, as a F2P player myself who only earns from G&G. That's partly why I revealed this event a whole month early, so that people can begin saving up for the various events!
The price to buy all badges is capped at 1000g, which is 2 weeks of G&G, which means that anyone could purchase all the badges even if they begin saving up for it during the month itself! This is the only event that really requires full participation, and I've placed it in the middle of the year so people have time to save up for it and then to recover from it afterwards!
I was not expecting anyone to aim to purchase all the skins, especially since the majority of them are reprints, and the most budget-friendly options are the hatchling skins priced between 200g to 400g, which is 3 to 6 days of G&G! Just buying one participating skin will do, if you do not already own one, because the criteria for the Skins event to participate in the grand prize draw is just to share at least one snapper wearing a participating skin! This is so that people are not punished for already owning the reprints prior to the event. And of course, start saving for them now! :)
I think I've made the criteria for qualifying for the grand prize draw quite generous as I did consider how much effort it takes to participate in every single event. I've also made sure that the prize is worth your time to participate in so much. I understand that not everyone G&Gs, but if you have any regular method of earning funds on this site, you should be considerably set to start saving to participate in all the events! :)
