Oooh, I like lots. I think, in general, I prefer distinct, unique familiars that feel connected to their flight in a distinct-from-others way— so I have a least favorite in that sense, but a most favorite is hard to pick.
I think in terms of "I think this is my favorite as an elemental fest cycle familiar" it has to go to the Spirit fams:
They're simple, but they're beautiful in their simplicity, each very distinct in terms of shape and very clearly about the flight they belong to.
But in general, I think my favorite is the ambassadors, because their cycle was so rich with unexpected new lore (along with the simultaneous release of the Joxar trickster recolors, which was super fun!) and while they're not, like, "this could only belong to Ice Flight" or anything, the choice of beastclans for each flight makes a lot of sense to me and offers some really fun designs:
My least favorite cycle would be the gem guardians. Don't get me wrong, they're super cute! They're fun and adorable designs, I'm not at all unhappy that we got them, but the elemental distinction was primarily in the colors and the gems, none of which offered anything I felt was particular unique. I appreciate them more now that they're all released and I can look back at them as a whole rather than waiting for each release, actually, because… again, they are super super cute! It's just, it was definitely the cycle I didn't really care about seeing the design every release, whereas the Spirits and the Ambassadors I got the most excited to see what each flight would get.
Honorable mention for the acolytes, the sneks, the slinks, and probably this cycle's gryphons, too! I think they all do a fantastic job of illustrating what element they are and being super fun to anticipate while being very linked to a theme. Also, honorable mention to the bears, because I always forget they're elemental fest cycle due to the NotN recolor drama, but they and their recolors genuinely are very good, distinct, and fun.

I think there were just TOO many bears at once, back when you could get them out of chests and I didn't appreciate them then.
