Dragon Share

Anyone else sometimes decide that a dragon just doesn’t need a name? I did a while ago and left her unnamed and it’s made me think of some really fun lore ideas (even if I can’t get her to lvl25 like the rest of my permas). Very nice colors! Algae. Such a good color... I used to have more of these, but I got bored of the concept. Writing stories about them made me realize... they all actually have names. Over time, some mode of address crystalized, even if it isn't a traditional one. Technically, if someone uses it to refer to her or get her attention, it's a name. This is the only one that survived. Everyone calls her the warden, because that's her job. And it's a job no one else has, so nobody had to get even more specific when talking about her (that is, "the Pearlcatcher warden" or something equally laborious). I actually collect unnamed dragons! :D As I'm an oldie collector, seeing an active dragon still staying unnamed after 10+ years on the site is quite amazing. And, of course, I have The Unnamed One. [font=times]Technically I don't have an unnamed dragon in the literal sense but I have one who is referred to as Sinomine (meaning nameless in latin) but he truly has no name and that's just what he tells people they can use if they would like to refer to him. love that accent on her! the darts look so good on ice blend too, wow :D i'm pretty picky about names, so i've opted to just never name any of my permas lmao. i think it goes along well with my lore, too! i hope we'll one day be able to bring unnamed dragons into coli... normally I try to think of names for my dragons even if they're very literal (most of my dragons are very literally named for lore reasons, even), but this guy never really felt in need of one.
