@LiminalFinn what awesome plague-y dergs! :D

Lateralus is gorgeous. When Crackle is good, it's really good, and that ominous red Crackle is perfect for him. His skin is really nice too! Good use of the new Hunter apparel as well ^^

But the way that the Crimson Cutter matches him is just... oof, it's soo good.

His Navy secondary matches the blue undertones of the Crimson Cutter's ribbons, and the red flowers melds perfectly into his blood-like tert + secondary accent colour. The little pops of blue from his primary looks really nice as well! He's a little bit messy and I love that.

A derg named Bonecrusher wearing some Bonecarver apparel? Very fun! The Crimson Eye Cloak helps to cover up her unfortunate(?) Wind eyes, while adding a great sense of movement.

Spirals can be tricky to dress, but the movement you get on them with their apparel pieces is so good, it's worth the extra effort!

@Rotbite it was so hard only picking three of your dergs to gush about, please know that I enjoyed looking at every single one of them!!

Whenever people share their progens, I always make an effort to talk about them. So of course, we must start with Ruby.

Ruby is very pretty under all that apparel, and even nicer with her layered outfit. The red of her Thornfell Mantle matches her colours perfectly, and the extra raggedness of it really helps to sell her lore.

She's got a lot going on in her outfit which unfortunately makes it difficult for me to point out the exact parts of what I like, but it all works together to build that vibe of a gritty, determined survivor. The art in her bio is also very nice!

The decision to use purple apparel to tie into Pyre's purple eyes, despite him being a red dragon, is an excellent decision imo and I am here for it.

Everything about his colours + outfit really matches his lore, which is awesome. And the extra pop of blue from his Spires of Wisp also matches his scene! He is an excellent derg.

Last but not least, let's talk about Avondetta! Her colours are shockingly good. I personally don't like Chrysocolla / Malachite that much, so it's always great to see a derg where it just works. Plus that Peridot Underbelly is devastatingly good. It pops in just the nicest way.

Her outfit is really nice as well! The way that the Crimson Eye Cloak melds into the Black Pelt Pack and Grim Healer's Trail is so satisfying, it looks like a single piece of apparel rather than three.

The pattern on the Red Umbrella actually kind of matches Chrysocolla and Malachite as well, which is very fun. And the bright red pops of colour on her other apparel pieces really ties into her secondary, which is part of the reason why those genes work so well on her.

She's very spooky in the best way, and I love that.

i use quite a bit of joxar recolors so i'm not going to slap all of my dragons with them on here (you're welcome), but drift gave me a whole run-around when i realized i wanted crimson cutter to be the central piece of his outfit. i designed his outfit about 3 days after the end of starfall celebration, and had to go out of my way to find a crimson cutter for a reasonable price lol [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/97767680][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/977677/97767680_350.png[/img][/url] i love the way he turned out, though, so i can't be too mad about it :^D
