A formidable dragon with high standards, Aquila is unrelenting, cunning, and vicious in combat.

Do not be fooled by her lack of forelimbs; she can easily flip and pin any young dragon to the ground and hold them there for hours, no matter their size.

The Banescale takes to her work with pride and dedication, never giving up on even the smallest and weakest dragons, always encouraging them in her own way.

In the corner of her office lies a gleaming pile of armour, well-cared for and hauntingly beautiful. A memory from her younger days, when all she knew was combat.

The scrapes have been carefully buffeted from the metal, the most damaged pieces replaced with painstaking care. It's obvious that she spends a great deal of time keeping it in perfect condition, though she rarely dons it.
Aquila personally attends every single exaltation ceremony, accompanying them as far as she is able. At the very end, she will bow to her students, so low that her head and wings graze the ground. "May the Arcanist watch over you," she will say.

She watches as they disappear behind the clouds, then a while longer. With a nod, she will turn around and begin the long flight back to lair alone, never looking back.
