currently I'm working on my hibden tasks so I'm grinding in low level venues, which got me more currency than usual. I'm purchasing as many gryphons as I can:

I usually get 3 of each (familiar + apparel piece(s)) unless I'm reaaally digging the apparel options. But even then, I only really end up using one of them.
3 copies of Riot this year since I like it more than some if the other fest genes, which I will only get 1 of if I'm not the biggest fan. They don't go for much on the AH usually so I can always just buy one if needed.
I buy 3-5+ scenes depending on how much I like them. It is always 5+ during RoR [emoji=aberration love size=1]

(not a fan of this familiar's colours, and not a fan of the sword apparel in general. the ruffles are nice but not in a colour scheme I'd use often, so I didn't get too many! might as well save my currency for next year when I might like the apparel a whole lot more :))
even when I really like them though, I usually don't get more than two familiars, and then as many apparel items as I feel like! the apparel is by FAR the most useful thing to me, so it's very useful to stock up

At least 2. If I like the item or I see the item is appealing I'll probably grab a few more. The gene I usually grab a few for different things, I like having a couple on hand just in case.
