arawoods ohhhh yeah ORV is very very long. I haven't reached the ending yet but I was given spoily hints about it. I know the ending is rather sad and something else happens, but without giving too much away, I still think it's worth it to stick it out till the end. You're around half way there though so technically for just the main portion of the story you're even more than half way. I'm only around 80 chapters away from the epilogue so it's been a tough read.
Honestly though reading it IS very very time consuming and draining, but the story still grips your mind and doesn't let go. Even when I went on a 2-3 month haitus bc of school, most of my thinking was still preoccupied with ORV :,)))

@SpiritFlower ORV anime ORV anime...! There may be no actual news other than "it's in production" but that means it will likely come out within a year or two. Probably. My guess at least. I wonder how much content they'll cover in a season. Will it be 1 cour, or 2? What story arc will they end on? How will they make the system popups and indirect messages work in anime form? Will the opening song be a banger? So many things to ponder...
In celebration of the announcement (and because ice has discount this week) I finished Han Sooyoung.

I'm definitely going to get a few more to breed in the gem genes. I also have plans to make Lee Hakkyun, the best boy from the side stories. I made a good [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/scrying/predict?morph=4702516]scry[/url], but I'm a bit stuck on his outfit... oh well, I can do that later. Probably after I actually catch up on side story content
In semi-related news, I’m also working on a fandragon for [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/scrying/predict?morph=4604100]Jaewhan[/url], the protagonist of singNsong’s previous work, The World After the Fall. Which also has an ongoing manhwa (that I should catch up on). Not ORV, but same authors, so that's close enough right? Ancients don't get to wear clothes, so no outfit, but it works for him
As for ORV's ending... of course, I don't want to actually spoil things, but I feel a need to vaguely discuss the ending, so I'll put that in spoiler text. No directly telling you the events or anything, but definitely discussing the ‘type’ of ending it is, so read only if you're fine with that.
[spoiler]It feels wrong to call the ending 'sad'. Of course, there are some gut punches leading up to it throughout the emotional rollercoaster that is the epilogue (it's a story arc in itself, not just the 1 chapter you would expect from an 'epilogue'), but the last chapter, the actual 'ending', feels hopeful. Inconclusive, since it's left open whether or not the thing we wanted to happen actually did happen, but there's a big implication it did. I am an 'ORV has a happy ending' believer and you can't change my mind. Not even the side stories can, since they’re probably going to have a happy or open ending too… once singNsong stop putting us and their characters through the emotional wringer again.[/spoiler]

The ending is something I'm dreading in a way bc I know the side stories are still going on, but it's actually pretty well fitted for the type of story that ORV is.
The ending allows more freedom to wonder, therefore allowing the readers to keep it alive with the possibilities. I do know that's an open ending and that it's not a happy one nor really just a simple sad one either which does give me a sort of hope. However I don't know the circumstances surrounding it but I'll most likely be devastated at first anyways lol
