[center]Hatched this girl yesterday that I originally didn't think much of, but it turns out she's super matchy! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/94807278][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/948073/94807278_350.png[/img][/url] So I decided to go through my lair and find some other XYZs that turned out matchy despite not originally seeming like they would be c: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/83263516][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/832636/83263516_350.png[/img][/url] Paris is blush/phthalo/peach and with phthalo bee having pinks it suits the warmer colors nicely! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/94377985][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/943780/94377985_350.png[/img][/url] Marsh's green accents tie him very nicely together! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/94389226][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/943893/94389226_350.png[/img][/url] Confetti's colors seem like they would clash, but surprisingly the accents came in clutch along with her wind eyes! Anybody else have some XYZs with colors they didn't think would originally work out, but turned out hella matchy? I'd love to see them!

Those pink dragons are gorgeous! Love the matching eyes as well! :D The only one I can think of in my lair is Sharara. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/52629345][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/526294/52629345_350.png[/img][/url] Surprisingly, Lead/Sand/Cerulean, all have that magnificent blue shade with this specific gene combination (and it looks great on all breeds of dragons~).

[url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/92785950][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/927860/92785950_350.png[/img][/url] hidalgo is one of my favorite examples of surprisingly matchy... i really wanted a dragon with rust harlequin or jester because it has such weird accents, and i found the perfect guy! the yellow matches his horns and on obelisk f pose the blue is more of a faded purple that matches fog [emoji=obelisk star size=1]

I was so blown away, I changed the lore I had in my head for them and quickly set out to gene them as such! Just... so cool. [emoji=aberration love size=1] And lastly, my favorite personal example... when I hatched Aurora, I wasn't too keen on her colors. [b]Turquoise / chocolate / copper[/b] is certainly not the worst color combo ever, but all that brown with blue has never been my thing... but I quickly grew to adore it once I got to scry her. Roadie is insanely cool omg the subtle blues in orb? The gorgeous blue fur in flair? IN LOVEEE and the subtle green leaves in Morryn's branches and the reds in flair, insane tree vibes gorgeous!! And holy smokes the tapir on Aurora the browns and blues literally being the same shade GAWD I am oh so jealous omg

Oh, Spitfire is glorious! The person who grabbed her was not only kind enough to let me swap a fodder dragon for her, but sponsored her gene plan, which I am still so delighted by! Watermelon/Shadow/Pistachio sounds like a trainwreck, but that Peacock ties everything together so well I still lose myself looking at her.
