I keep my food stocks at around 10k so I never have to worry about having a lack of food, but I also compulsively try to store at least a stack of every food item in my vault. So if I were to convert everything, it'd likely hit over 100k points each. It's worth more profit selling than converting that much, though. c:

I converted a load of food for the achievements and with occasional topups from pursuits am slowly burning most of them down - now I just keep Plants topped up to 10k+ as the primary food for most of my dragons. The others are currently just below 4k (from just over 10k due to the achievements) and I'll let them dwindle.

I'll only convert once a particular food type hits 0, which given the size of my lair will take a while. Though I didn't know about the food points achievement, so once I stock up some more I might just get to 10k and never convert again lol
Edit: The 10k points made me curious - how long would it take for my current lair to go through 10,000 food points of each type? So I did some maths (days rounded up):
Insects - 1,112 days (just over 3 years)
Meat - 1,667 days (just over 4 and a half years)
Seafood - infinite time (I have 0 seafood-eating dragons atm)
Plants - 556 days (one and a half years)
Lotta time!
