I've been using all my gathering turns digging in water, as I usually do during fests (the fest element, not just water) and I've gotten a chest just about every day, whereas in previous fests I would've been lucky to get one all week. Is my luck just catching up with me, or is everyone feeling this?

It's just luck! I think they'd tell us if they changed the drop rates. Someone else is probably feeling like they're getting less chests than usual this fest haha
