To be a gardener doesn't mean you were appointed such, or that you're even good at it. In fact, by the standards of any of the actual appointed, and skilled gardeners, Saturn had done, and continues to do everything completely wrong. Floren was the one to take them in, and Saturn insisted on being a planter of some kind. With a few already tending their own crop, most of it for the collective as a food source, he could only offer him the position to grow strange oddities. Not that Floren needed or wanted such, he just simply figured it was safest to put them in the position of dead and dying plants than anything that would be a danger to them, or anyone else for that matter. That being said, Saturn had amassed a collection of strange plants, all of them thriving, despite some being over watered, and the others almost neglected, Saturn's plants seemed to be in the greatest health within the clan. But it was almost never worth enduring the conversations Saturn trapped you in. It was not to say that Saturn was unkind, but simply they had so much to say. Anyone that would so much as greet them was met with effective word vomit that would take up the entire day. It didn't matter how much Saturn had stocked up, or the quality of goods, spending the whole day listening to another of Saturn's ramblings was never worth a single fruit, or a basket of otherwise. That was how everyone saw it, at least except for Tanzanite. Tanzanite was one of few, if not the only one to entertain Saturn, and in most cases directing them in what to plant. He had mostly kept to himself, but in having someone grow specific specialty herbs was handy in that regard. But with Saturn going from a thousand topics a minute, he made sure to make every trip he made, worth it. From getting the juiciest fruit from the weirdest bonsai collection, to buckets and bottles of strange spices, Tanzanite had one of the easiest things to end his day with Saturn; small bones. His own collection was ever growing, and being one of the few who horded such, it was a treat for Saturn to get any in trade. Though, with being stored beside so many strange artifacts, some would consider them enchanted. Saturn considered them good luck, and often buried the strangest and weirdest ones deep in the pots and under the plants he grew. Who's to say they aren't the greatest fertilizer? . . . or maybe they've enchanted the plants themselves. [nextcol] [/columns] [columns] _CLAN_ ____"Not all stories start as happy as they end, and not every story has a happy ending. Not everything is as simple as it appears.

____"Not all stories start as happy as they end, and not every story has a happy ending. The triplets had, for lack of better words, been abandoned by their parents when they were young. Sol had taken up the role of acting parent, keeping them together, and safe since they were young. Floren, while reluctant to do so, was most efficient in tracking, and keeping watch. Aqua, with her own fears and desire for comfort always seemed to find both the safest, and most comfortable areas for them to call their home on their travels, as well as areas with an abundance of food. The three of them did not often stick around in one place too long.

Growing up, all they had were each other. They would learn to rely on their siblings, if they could not do it, one of the others could. They didn't envy each other, for one may have been better at one thing than the other, because it was just how they were. Everyone had their role in their family, and who to do a job best, than the one that is the best at it."

____Some dragons come from prestige. Some decent from a long line of warriors, others a famed hero. Not all dragons share this fact, some are just starting their own tale rather than living in the shadow of another. For them, this is the beginning of a new fable. For others, they prefer the simple life.

Maybe this is a dragon destined for their greatness to be uncovered, or maybe their fate is simply to serve as another forgotten solider of one of the various deities in the name of protecting their kingdoms. Not all dragons come from a great heritage. Some are at the beginning of their family legacy, while others become the last of their bloodline. It doesn't matter where you come from, only where you are going.

Some bloodlines exist and die in the same land, sometimes even the same lifetime. The true way to carty on a legacy, is to travel and share your findings with the world, your story, and your family. After all, how can you expect to survive if all you ever know is home?

Some would say it is better to know what you don't have, than to have and not know what it is. Cleopatra was not one to agree. She was one who wanted everything, and wanted all of the knowledge pertaining to it. There was always records kept somewhere, but with so many other nations, clans, bloodlines and mages, knowledge was everywhere. The only question was where to start. The Kingdom of Atum was not the first, but was the strongest within the Ennead Nations. The other nations prospered and offered an exchange of blueprints. As one of them improved, so would the others. Among their heads, the one that knew the most, was the one in charge. But for them, knowledge was also currency. They held the technology to jump great distances, allowing dragons to traverse across continents, often in times of need after a retrieval mission, but only two forms of the tech seemed to exist between the nations. It was agreed that any knowledge gained for the advancement of their Jump Tech was to be shared without any strings attached. Cleopatra was eager to have acquired the knowledge and had offered relics and artifacts to terraform great portions of land. From turning bad dirt into fruitful soil one could plan in, it had allowed the other nations to feed their people. She was the one to discover a new way to engineer their Jump Devices. It seemed that the greater distance you used to travel, the larger toll it took on your body, almost sucking your lifeforce to activate it. While one had found a way to make not as strenuous to use, it was later discovered, or hypothesized that instead of draining his energy for the time being, it had greatly shortened his lifespan. The race to perfect this device was not Cleopatra's focus, but the manner in which this device seemed to feed on life itself. To this day, the other nations chase knowledge, as she continues. As these great leaders eventually die and are replaced by their kin or other elected candidates, Cleopatra remains empress of her kingdom. Questions would forever linger on to how she had managed to live for so long, but that is one knowledge she refuses to share. After all, knowledge is power. And with it, not only is she physically stronger, she retains her power with the secrets she manages to keep. [nextcol] [/columns][columns] _Azimuth_ ____Love is subjective and often greatly differs from dragon to dragon. Their own secrets and research to maintain their devices to hold onto the power they had would continue to grow. Little things perfected. Its not to say they were the smartest between the kingdoms, but they were by far the more resourceful and efficient. They found power in not the knowledge they shared, but the things they didn't. He remains the only one Cleo can really trust in the absence of herself. Azimuth has to do very little to maintain such a feat. Spells were easily copied and reused if someone had the skill, but those with the knowledge of how something works did not always have an understanding to replicate it. Sandral was one who did not work for power or knowledge, but simply money. To have someone so simple close by meant they were reliable, but it also meant they worked for the highest bidder. It didn't matter what price he requested, for her, money meant little, and often the feats she requested of him were simple tasks. He remains the only one Cleo can really trust in the absence of herself. Azimuth has to do very little to maintain such a feat. Now, only if they too could learn how to use the Jump Device...

@Yukirochisu I've been wanting to get a bio done by you for a little bit and finally came up with the dragon I'd like to at least start with. He's one of my progens and I need his origin rewritten mostly, but would like some info added as well. Type: Dragon Link: Template: no thank you Bonus: clan lore link Thrush left the clan as a mirror and returned as a wildclaw in my lore as an added tidbit of info if that helps you. I will also scatter his colors every so often, so mentioning his colors shouldn't be neccessary. I am updating my clan lore a bit, but the majority of it still fits such as being a nomadic clan and Thrush definitely being a bit of an antagonist. The other bit of lore not in my main document yet are the lightning dragons he's collecting as his own personal clan spies. They are in the tab called Thrush's Guard. He's not really evil in the sense that he wants to harm the clan, he just reeeeeeally doesn't get along with Larka or Starling. Feel free to use any of my dragons with bios for inspiration. Cost: 2000 words = 900g (let me know if you would like more if this is complex. I'm willing to go higher)
