Nope, still a hater about these. Design wise they're very boring and I'm getting real tired of Ancients being bloody Moderns. Wasn't the point of Ancients to give us more dragons but ALSO break Modern conventions? And yet I'd wager 90% of the Ancients we have right now are literally just. Moderns.
No hope for the Wind and Light Ancient since they're going to be gem breeds no doubt, so they'll also be safe and boring and augh.
Not even asking for something out there like an eldritch abomination; I just want something that encapsulate the idea of an Ancient. A hydra, a wyrm, a lindwurm, anything that isn't "this is literally a Modern".

A tad disappointed... I was hoping for a wingless ancient, considering Earthshaker had no wings. Happy to have a new Ancient regardless though.

I hatched the closest thing to a Charizard I think I'll ever get and I LOVE her - she even has fire eyes like exsqueeze me

this little guy's colours remind me of something really familiar too but I can't put my finger on it - maybe it's old Nerf branding lol

I'm sorry but I'm really feeling like a hater right now.
Wasn't the point of Ancients to be able to create dragons that wouldn't otherwise work as Moderns? And yet we keep getting literally Moderns.

Not entirely sure what you're talking about here because every ancient up until now has broken the "1 head, 2 wings, 4 legs" rule.
Gaolers have weird vestigial wings.
Banescale are wyverns and only have hind legs.
Veilspun have 4 wings.
Aberrations have 2 heads and 2 tails.
Undertides have fins instead of legs.
Aether have 4 wings and 6 legs.
Sandsurge are wingless and have sails instead.
Auraboa have 4 wings and 2 legs.[/center]

...Not really, lol.
Gaolers: four legs, two wings. This is a Modern.
Veilspun: four legs... having multiple wings doesn't count, so does Coatl lol. This is a Modern.
Aberration: Four legs, two wings. It's only saving grace is it's two heads.
Dusthide: Four legs, two wings. This is a Modern.
Sandsurge: Four legs, two wings. This is a Modern.
Aether: It's honestly a Modern. Just take away the itty bitty extra legs that you have to squint to see and it's literally a Modern.
The only dragons that don't fit into the Modern physiology is Banescale, Undertide and Auraboa.
This is what I mean.
