It's your device's (computer/phone) memory to quickly reload pages with images and the like. If you clear it through your settings in your browser it'll reload the pages and can sometimes help with loading images that aren't showing.
If you're on your computer you can simply press
ctrl + f5 and it'll reload/clear your cache on the page you're on.
